Rob Hotchkin: "Flame On! It is Time to Let the Lord Search Us and Consume Us!"

The following is from elijahlist.com

Rob HotchkinFlames of Passion

A new level of burning is coming. God's love for His people is inspiring a passionate response that is causing an entire generation to cry out for the flames of His love - because nothing else satisfies.

As we allow His love to consume us and everything in us that is not of Him, these flames of passion will begin to light fires that not only burn in our hearts, but turn us into torches of blazing light. The light in us will draw those who do not yet know Him into the flames of His presence.

I have seen visions of Believers who have allowed God to search them, separate them, and so consume them with the fires of His holy love, that they spontaneously burst into heavenly flames of His presence. As these "human torches" arise and shine, going forth into the streets and communities of their cities and villages, people turn from their paths, come running up to them, and ask, "What is this flame that does not burn you? What is this fire that radiates off of you? What is this warmth?"

As these fiery ones extend their hands, the flames of God's passion for His creation that they carry so brightly, will begin to ignite others, drawing them into the inferno of His heart, consuming every work of the enemy. The sick are healed. The blind see. The deaf hear. The dead are raised. Demons flee. Entire cities and villages will call upon the name of the Lord, receiving the love of Jesus into their hearts and declaring Him as Lord of their lives.

It is time to arise and shine. It is time to let the Lord search us and consume us. It is time to cry out for His holy fire to come and ignite our hearts with a new level of passionate response to His love, embracing His fiery presence and carrying it out to a world that desperately needs to know this God who so dearly loves them.

Encountering the Heart of God

In Exodus 3, we read the story of Moses encountering the burning bush. When Moses saw this blazing fire, he was not seeking a sign, a wonder, or even a getaway with God. He was simply going about his everyday business, tending the flock. But when God allowed His burning heart for His people to manifest as a blazing fire, Moses could not help but respond.

In Exodus 3:3, we read that Moses felt compelled to turn aside. When he did, he had a powerful God-encounter that forever changed his image of himself and launched him out into a miracle ministry that delivered an entire people group from bondage and suffering. He was set ablaze with God's heart for the Israelites, and he burned with God's purpose to see them set free.

This revelation of God's love for His people fueled Moses to press in again and again, moving in the miraculous and expecting the impossible - until he saw it come to pass.

God is always with us (Joshua 1:5). He is always near. He is always waiting for us to turn aside from the thoughts and concerns of the world, and move into His powerful presence (James 4:8). When we do, just like Moses, we will step out of the everyday and into the holy. We will go from our limited understanding to the revelation that all things are possible.

The key is to connect with the burning heart of God and let it set us ablaze with a passion for what He is passionate about.

It does not matter where you have been. It does not matter who you have been. All that matters is that God is calling out, waiting for those to respond who are willing to be His fiery ones. He is searching to and fro for men and women who will turn aside from where they have been and come to the place of the burning bush, the place of His fiery passion, where He can set them ablaze with His heart and send them forth for His purpose.

God Wants to Make Us Flames of Fire

The Lord wants to bring us to the place of the burning bush, the place where we encounter His fiery passionate love. Not only so we know how loved we are, but so that we realize how loved all the world is (John 3:16).

This revelation is what enables us to surrender all. It allows us to love and trust Him so completely that we lay down our agendas, turn aside from the everyday, and launch out into the miraculous. It is what ignites us to be His flames of fire that burn - so the world might know His light.

When we allow God to set us ablaze with His heart for the lost, we truly become burning ones – carrying His passion and presence to a world that does not yet know Him. We go from the place of the burning bush where we encounter His love, to being burning bushes that carry His love.

As we blaze with His love, shining brilliantly with the gifts and fruits of the Spirit that witness that love to the world, many will be drawn from the paths they have been on and into encounters with the Holy One! Many will be healed. Many will be delivered. Many will be saved.

John Wesley once said, "I set myself on fire and people come to watch me burn." John the Baptist was a burning man in the desert and all of Judea and the district of the Jordan were drawn to him to hear about Jesus (see Matthew 3:5). And Scripture tells us that the day is near when God will send out an army of those who will move in flame and fire (Joel 2:2–3).

Do you want to be one of them? Then go to the place of the burning bush – the place of His presence – where you will encounter the fiery passion of God for you and for all of creation. Cry out for a fresh baptism of the Holy Spirit and for fire to turn you into a "human torch" that shines Jesus brightly for all the world to see.

Flame on!

Chuck Pierce: "FLORIDA OUTPOURING Receives Endorsements and Oversight - Includes Chuck Pierce, C. Peter Wagner, Che Ahn, Bill Johnson, and more!

This comes courtesy of the elijahlist.com...

by Chuck Pierce

Chuck Pierce

We have had several people write with great concerns about the current move of God that has been stirring in Lakeland, Atlanta, Dallas and other areas of our nation. Let me share some things with you.

Advancing the Body of Christ

We at Glory of Zion International have chosen to number ourselves in intercession with what is happening in Lakeland and other places throughout the world. Some have written asking me to reject Todd Bentley. Glory of Zion International does not have a philosophy or mindset to reject anyone. We watch, pray, and then try to communicate what the Lord is saying to help the overall Body of Christ advance.

I have seen others get offended because key leaders commissioned Todd as a modern day evangelist. We at Glory of Zion have no problems with this new commissioning. Please know that we are living in an age where the apostolic gift in the Body has come into a new position and era of authority. I was very excited to read Peter Wagner's report on the commissioning service in Lakeland. I admire Ché Ahn, Bill Johnson, and John Arnott. I can now rest in the LORD, knowing that if things get out of sync, this team can help Todd make adjustments so the Spirit can keep moving.

We will continue to pray that the Lord raises up even more evangelists all over the world who can reach the harvest fields today. Yes, they may look different than Billy Graham, and they may have experienced some unusual happenings that perhaps will be more easily communicated as time goes on and we all grow in the Lord. But, overall, they are stirring the Body of Christ, leading people to the Lord, and doing the works of Jesus!

Eat the Meat and Spit Out the Bones

Let me share with you a personal experience. When Pam and I were in the Baptist Church in the early '80s, we were in a "move of God." The Fullness Movement had touched the Baptist Church in the late '70s, led by Jim Hylton, Ras Robinson, Jack Taylor and others. We had had some incredible meetings at our church. Many had gotten saved, gotten right with the Lord and filled with the Spirit of God. I loved this time. Pam and I both reminisce over it and call it "the Glory Days."

Then James Robison had his annual meeting and invited John Wimber to minister. Many of you remember our story of Pam's barrenness. You can read about it in two or three of the books that we have written. We were told by all of our leadership how this "move" had gotten way out of hand, and now that John Wimber (who had no Baptist roots), was invading James Robison's meeting, we should all stay away from these gatherings. (You should know that John Wimber and Peter Wagner helped revive signs and wonders in the '80s.) Well, I heard God very clearly tell Pam and me to go in January, 1984, to the James Robison meeting where John Wimber was speaking. While we were there, the Spirit of God fell on my wife and sovereignly filled her. His power knocked the clots out of her uterus and He dramatically healed her. When the Spirit of God fell on Pam she said, "You were right! There are demons everywhere, but I AM HEALED!"

This was not about John Wimber. This was not about Baptists. This was not about controversy. This test was ours! The situation was about us following God without fear so He could reward us with an incredible blessing. Pam became pregnant two weeks later and continued to be pregnant for the next 10 years of our lives. We had six wonderful children. I'm so thankful I listened to the Spirit of God and did not let religious fear rule us. There were others with us that were not touched at all by the meetings. As a matter of fact, they did not appreciate at all the way John Wimber ministered. However, in the midst of his ministry, the Spirit of God ministered to us and changed the course of our lives.

I am honored that God brought me into alignment with Peter and Doris Wagner after I embraced the move of God that had been stirred by he and John Wimber. We have now been together for 17 years. During that time, I have continued to get the best God has to offer from the revivals in Argentina, Toronto, the "Laughter Movement," Brownsville, and any other fresh breath of wind that blows. I have many friends who have great cautions over experiential manifestations and extra-Biblical, sensational happenings. I heed those friends' voices and listen carefully. This does not keep me from experiencing what God is doing. I love what Bishop Bill Hamon says, "Eat the meat and spit out the bones and you will find yourself nourished."

From Chaos to Order

Recently, I have been pondering the first several verses of Genesis. In the midst of a wreck and ruined, chaotic, without-form earth, the Spirit of God began to hover. Once the Spirit began to hover, God could speak into the earth realm and pull forth creativity. He did this for six straight days. But notice God's order: He didn't try and set in order the sixth day before the first day. He didn't try to place the fourth day before the second day. Little by little, as the Spirit hovered, order came and man was offered a new position as a result. That is how I view every move of God.

What I would encourage you to do is to keep discerning by the Word and the Spirit, but to be open to see the Lord move in a new way. The disciples could not understand why the Lord would go to Samaria and visit with the woman at the well. However, because of His love and boldness to break a religious standard, a whole city was saved (John 4). The Lord is preparing to save entire cities today.

Blessings,

Chuck D. Pierce

The Impartable Anointing

Awesome things are happening in these days of visitation. Revival fire has ignited in Lakeland, Florida, and has exploded into multiple thousands of people gathering each night in stadiums and arenas receiving healings, miracles and fresh fire from Heaven. Many from all over the world are being ignited with a fresh anointing of grace and taking the revival fire back to their homes and churches.

Much has been said about the "contagious" and "impartable" nature of the revival fire breaking out in Florida and other places, making these truly exciting times to be alive. Since there are some valuable lessons we can learn from some of the recent predecessors of this current outpouring, that will help us rightly respond to these current events, I pulled together what I am calling "chronicles of revival" from events I personally experienced and first person accounts I have heard from some of the primary people involved with the progression of revival over the last 20 years.

But long before there was the "Toronto Blessing" or the "Brownsville Revival" we see a story that exemplifies the reality of chasing mantles and catching anointings right from the Scriptures. The story is from 2 Kings 2:1-2; 9-15 and is about Elijah and Elisha:

"And it came to pass, when the LORD was about to take up Elijah into Heaven by a whirlwind, that Elijah went with Elisha from Gilgal. Then Elijah said to Elisha, 'Stay here, please, for the LORD has sent me on to Bethel.' But Elisha said, 'As the LORD lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you!' So they went down to Bethel...

"And so it was, when they had crossed over, that Elijah said to Elisha, 'Ask! What may I do for you, before I am taken away from you?' Elisha said, 'Please let a double portion of your spirit be upon me.' So he said, 'You have asked a hard thing. Nevertheless, if you see me when I am taken from you, it shall be so for you; but if not, it shall not be so.' Then it happened, as they continued on and talked, that suddenly a chariot of fire appeared with horses of fire, and separated the two of them; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into Heaven.

"And Elisha saw it, and he cried out, 'My father, my father, the chariot of Israel and its horsemen!' So he saw him no more. And he took hold of his own clothes and tore them into two pieces. He also took up the mantle of Elijah that had fallen from him, and went back and stood by the bank of the Jordan.

"Then he took the mantle of Elijah that had fallen from him, and struck the water, and said, 'Where is the LORD God of Elijah?' And when he also had struck the water, it was divided this way and that; and Elisha crossed over. Now when the sons of the prophets who were from Jericho saw him, they said, 'The spirit of Elijah rests on Elisha.' And they came to meet him, and bowed to the ground before him."

The lesson is obvious: Elisha pressed in and received not just the same anointing Elijah carried, but in fact, a double portion of the anointing his mentor had.

The History Behind Current Lakeland, Florida, Outpourings

The story of this current outpouring can actually be traced back 20 years ago to an obscure Bible College teacher in South Africa who felt called of God to surrender his life to become a missionary to America. His name was Rodney Howard-Browne.

He arrived in the USA in 1988 and started traveling as an evangelist preaching the Gospel. One of the earmarks of his life and his message was a deep and unquenchable hunger for God and the power of His Spirit. By the early 90's he began to experience an unusual level of anointing on his ministry and people began to receive powerful touches of refreshing and joy in his meetings, as well as healings and other miracles.

By 1993, he was gaining attention by what God was doing in his meetings; and in a series of meetings he held in Lakeland, Florida, there was such a powerful move that he went into extended meetings where thousands of people began to come and receive a fresh touch from God.

The Buzz in 1993 Concerning Lakeland Revival Meetings

During that time, I was pastoring a church in the Florida Panhandle, and I remember all the buzz about the meetings. A number of people I knew flew in from across the USA to Florida to receive a fresh empowerment from Heaven. I also remember, to my chagrin, the thoughts that passed through my mind at the time, about how I had God in my life, and I had an anointing on what I was doing, and I certainly did not need to travel anywhere to chase after "more of God." (I was soon to radically change my mind on those issues.)

Not everyone held my opinion on the matter, and during those days in 1993, there was a certain burned-out Vineyard pastor in St. Louis, Missouri, who had, himself, seen seasons of visitation and healing in his past; he was so hungry to experience it again, that he chased Rodney Howard-Browne down and attended some meetings he was holding in Tulsa, Oklahoma. That man was Randy Clark. By his own admission, he tells about how he got into the prayer line for "impartation" five times in one night just because he was so hungry for more of God and His power in his life.

Randy left those meetings changed forever. He was healed of a nervous condition that had been plaguing him for a while, but more significantly, when he got home he discovered a whole new level of grace and anointing in his ministry. Randy has gone on since then to build an international, apostolic ministry that is touching nations with healing and impartation of revival fire.

Not long after that, another hungry Vineyard pastor named John Arnott heard of what had happened in Randy's life and invited him to come and do four nights of meetings at his church in Toronto, Canada, in the cold and snowy January of 1994. What happened next certainly changed my mind about the impartation and transferability of anointings and mantles. But way beyond that, it has had major impact on the Church worldwide. The impact felt from the visitation of God that occurred at the Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship is with us to this day, and there is much we can learn from it.

Hungry for MORE!

"O God, You are my God; early will I seek You; my soul thirsts for You; my flesh longs for You in a dry and thirsty land where there is no water. So I have looked for You in the sanctuary, to see Your power and Your glory. Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise You. Thus I will bless You while I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name. My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness, and my mouth shall praise You with joyful lips." Psalm 63:1-5

God will accommodate the hungry with revival. Not long after Randy Clark received a fresh impartation at Rodney Howard-Browne's meeting in Tulsa, Oklahoma, another hungry Vineyard pastor named John Arnott invited him to his church in Toronto, Canada. When the meetings began on a cold Thursday night in January, there were about 120 people in attendance. But God showed up in a powerful way, and what was intended to be four nights of meetings quickly blossomed into extended meetings.

John convinced Randy to stay on to help, and the meetings grew in intensity and in numbers. It seemed like overnight word got around that there was an unusual visitation of God, and the hungry began to come from throughout the USA and Canada--then came the nations. Nightly meetings extended week after week, then month after month. The hungry kept coming, catching the fire, and taking it back with them to their homes and churches in nations all over the world. At one point, they said there were over 6,000 churches experiencing the outpouring in just England alone.

My first knowledge of the outpouring came in the Spring of that year (1994) when a friend named Steve Witt, who himself was a Vineyard pastor in eastern Canada, began to tell me stories of how he took a team from his church to the Toronto meetings. And when they got back to his church in New Brunswick, his church caught ablaze and was experiencing the same powerful visitation from God, with the accompanying signs and wonders.

Suddenly I got hungry. We immediately set up a series of meetings for Steve and his team to come to our rural church in the Florida Panhandle. They came, and sure enough, the same thing happened in our congregation. And my hunger became insatiable. I wanted MORE! So off I went with numerous visits over the next six months to Toronto, to Rodney Howard-Browne meetings, to Randy Clark conferences, etc., as did thousands and thousands of people over the next several years. Our small, rural church of 120 people caught the fire as well. We doubled in size over the next three years (but that is a different story).

The Toronto meetings grew from hundreds to thousands, and the fire spread. Healings and miracles were taking place, and people continued to be powerfully touched by the love of God and His presence. This truly was an impartable and contagious anointing. Smaller versions of the same outpouring began to occur in churches all over the world. One such place was an Anglican church in England called Holy Trinity--Brompton.

There was another church in the sleepy, gulf coast town of Pensacola, Florida, who had not heard of the Toronto outpouring at this point. But they were hungry for revival to such a degree that they had set Sunday nights aside for a solid two years just to pray for revival. After two full years of praying for revival at the Brownsville Assembly of God, some of the core staff heard about and decided to go check out the Toronto meetings, and they took a trip up in the Spring of 1995. They came home more hungry than ever for revival fire. Part of the group was the pastor's wife, Brenda Kilpatrick, and worship leader Lindell Cooley.

While that was going on, a friend of Brownsville pastor John Kilpatrick, who was a traveling evangelist named Steve Hill with the Assemblies of God denomination, had heard of what was happening at Holy Trinity Church in England. In one of his trips abroad he stopped into the church and talked to the vicar there, named Sandy Miller, and received prayer and a fresh impartation of fire for himself and his ministry.

In one of those divinely orchestrated events, it turned out that the Brownsville Pastor, John Kilpatrick, decided to invite evangelist Steve Hill to preach at his church on Father's Day Sunday in the Summer of 1995. It was like a match hitting gasoline. They exploded into nightly meetings, and suddenly this large, respectable Assembly of God church in Pensacola, Florida, became another hot spot for revival, as God poured out another powerful demonstration of His power and presence in that place.

Revival Phenomena

"Everyone kept feeling a sense of awe; and many wonders and signs were taking place through the apostles." Acts 2:43

Through the mid to late 90's there were revival "hotspots" burning all over the world, the most prominent of which was the "Toronto Blessing" and the "Brownsville Revival" in Pensacola, Florida. People were being saved, healed, delivered, encouraged, strengthened and refreshed. But it was not without controversy. Many signs and wonders were happening, and that alone received lots of attention. Much of the controversy centered on the signs and wonders "phenomena."

Common to many of these meetings, were people roaring and groaning, falling and shaking, and people wondered. One friend of mine astutely commented, "Of course, a sign is designed to make you wonder." Hmm...a common bush in the desert would not have captured Moses' attention. But a bush that was on fire but not consumed, made him wonder and caused him to turn aside to see what it was. So is the effect of the unusual signs of revival.

A "sign" is an abnormal, unusual attention-getter, designed to point to something. Where I lived for a while in Northwest Florida, there were lots and lots of trees. In fact, I lived in the midst of miles and miles of pine forests. If I were to tell someone to drive down the road for a few miles until they saw the pine tree on the left and turn there, they would most certainly become lost, since there are hundreds of pines, all looking pretty much the same. If, on the other hand, I said, "Look for the pine tree that has been sawed into planks, nailed together, painted white, and has an arrow on it pointing left" (i.e. a sign), it would be much easier to find the destination the sign points to.

The fact is, a sign is simply that--an unusual "something" that gets our attention. A sign is of necessity an unusual, abnormal phenomenon, otherwise it would not serve its purpose. The validity of the sign is found in not what the sign is, but what the sign points to. The sign phenomena itself cannot be the solo criteria by which we judge whether it is divine or counterfeit. A sign is meant to point to something--WHAT it points to makes all the difference.

The Sign Should Point to Jesus

And that leads to another principle. The sign is not the destination, but points us to the destination. Which, in all cases, should be Jesus. THAT is the criteria by which to judge. The accuracy of a word, validity of a sign or anything else is not measured by whether it is an authentic or supernatural miracle, but rather, if it glorifies Jesus. In the meetings being described, is the name of Jesus being lifted up? Is the Gospel being preached? Are people being provoked to deeper devotion to Jesus? Are they recovering their first love for the Lord? These are the real criteria.

In Rodney Howard-Browne's meetings there was overwhelming joy and laughter. In Toronto, people shook and fell, or broke into what some called "exotic prophetic manifestations." Similar things happened at Brownsville. And people wondered.

But this kind of phenomena is not new to revival. One reporter observed about the famous Cane Ridge Revival in the 1800's that the scene looked more like a battlefield than an outdoor meeting--with people strewn all over the countryside and laid out under the power of God's presence. But history tells us that the Cane Ridge Revival had a significant and positive effect on the morality of the nation.

The Fruit Speaks for Itself

Of course, throughout Scripture there were occasions where the powerful presence of God caused people to fall under the presence of His glory. One clear example is in 2 Chronicles 5:13-14:

"...in unison when the trumpeters and the singers were to make themselves heard with one voice to praise and to glorify the LORD, and when they lifted up their voice accompanied by trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and when they praised the LORD saying, 'He indeed is good for His lovingkindness is everlasting,' then the house, the house of the LORD, was filled with a cloud, so that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud, for the glory of the LORD filled the house of God." (See also Genesis 17:17; 2 Chronicles 7:1-2; Numbers 22:31; Daniel 8:17,18; Acts 9:3-6.)

So the fruit speaks for itself. I knew a teenage girl whose mother attended our local church. She visited the Brownsville Revival one night, more out of curiosity than anything else. While there, she received prayer, fell down, then levitated about six inches off the floor while she was being delivered from demons. Needless to say, she was changed forever. And so was about half our youth group who was there and saw it.

John Arnott, the pastor at Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship, gave an interesting response when challenged about the shaking and quaking that often happened to people who received prayer in their meetings. Someone asked, "What if it is a demon?" To which he replied, "Even if it was a demon, the more important question is whether the demon was coming or leaving." It is in the overwhelmingly convincing results of the encounters people experienced in these meetings, that the answer was found. They consistently left more in love with Jesus, more passionate for God, more refreshed, encouraged and empowered for ministry. As John also commented, "Why would the devil want to do that?"

One such case was a certain tired, sick and discouraged woman who had been on the mission field in Africa for many years with little fruit. She went to the meetings in Toronto, was prayed for by Randy Clark, and fell down in a pile on the floor. She was so overwhelmed by the power and presence of God that she could hardly talk and was unable to walk for a week, or even get to and from the meetings without help.

After her week of power encounter, Heidi Baker returned to the mission field with a fresh empowerment from the Holy Spirit--and since then she and her husband Roland have set Africa on fire, planting somewhere close to 10,000 churches. They have seen many significant healings and miracles, including a number of resurrections from the dead, multiplications of food, and other notable miracles.

Another minister who was powerfully touched by the Toronto Revival was a woman who already had an effective ministry in Western Canada during that time. As a prophetic visionary and effective author and teacher, she took what she received and began to train people to experience their own ongoing personal revival through her "Glory Schools" and other seminars and materials. Her name was Patricia King.

Catching the Fire and Giving it Away

The revival at the Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship had some distinctive aspects to it. One of the significant aspects of what happened there (in this writer's opinion), was that it was not so much "personality based" as it was "presence of God" based. The amazing feature of this outpouring of the Holy Spirit was that the power and presence of God was there night after night, regardless of who was speaking, who was leading worship and what else was happening. The "felt" love of God and intimacy with Him were the biggest features, although there were plenty of salvations, healings, prophetic ministry, excellent teaching and so on.

Many people acknowledge the Toronto Outpouring as a significant benchmark of revival for this generation. Through the wise apostolic leadership of John Arnott, the revival that happened there was stewarded and administrated in such a way that there has been an establishment of ongoing fruit. Many current ministries also trace their release into new levels of effectiveness to the fresh anointing they received from the Toronto Revival. One of those ministries was that of Patricia King.

Patricia became a "carrier" of the "renewal anointing" and took it back to her spheres of ministry in western Canada. It was there, during the late 90's, that she was in a meeting where she prophetically identified and called out a young man named Todd Bentley to launch out into an evangelistic ministry, and prophetically "commissioned" him into a ministry of signs, wonders and miracles.

Todd grabbed the mantle and ran with it. The next ten years saw growth in his effectiveness as an evangelist and healing minister, but also some grueling dealings with God, as God prepared the vessel--as He so adequately and lovingly does.

It was 10 years later, in the beginning of 2008 (February 20-23), that Patricia King invited Todd to be a keynote speaker at an "Extreme Prophetic" conference she held in Phoenix, Arizona, called "Raising the Dead." That conference turned out to be a significant milestone in the ongoing chronicles of revival. A man named Denny Cline, Pastor of the Vineyard Church in Albany, Oregon, who had been a friend to Todd and had hosted meetings with Todd in the past, came to the conference on a prophetic mission. He came with the sole agenda of proclaiming to Todd that there were new angelic hosts being assigned to Todd and his ministry to assist in a new wave of healing and revival fire.

A Dawning of a New Day

It was on one of the last nights of that conference that a prolonged and holy silence settled in upon the meeting at the end of a time of worship. After a long pause, a prophetic word came forth over the meeting, declaring the following: "For those in this place who sense that you have crossed over a new threshold, the Lord declares,

'Surely you HAVE crossed over a new threshold and have, as it were, turned the corner into a new day, says the Lord. For surely this is a new day, not only for you, but also for the entire Body of Christ. And even as there have been times in which historians looked back and said, "That was the dawning of a new day for the Church," even so, those with spiritual perception will look back upon these meetings and this time as the time when a new day dawned and a new level of breakthrough occurred for the Body of Christ.'"

A few short weeks later, Todd began what was supposed to be a short series of meetings in Lakeland, Florida. They began with about 700 in attendance, but God poured out a glorious gusher of His glory and healing power, and the crowds quickly swelled into thousands. Many signs and wonders and dramatic miracles are taking place.

As of the time of this writing, there have been 12 reports of RESURRECTIONS FROM THE DEAD. Many are heralding this as the often-prophesied and long-awaited beginning of an end time harvest that will spread to arenas and stadiums all over the world.

Once again, there is a tangible and transferable anointing of power and glory that is spreading to revival hotspots all over the world. And with the Divine providence of a prophetically sensitive satellite TV station--GOD TV, founded by Wendy and Rory Alec--broadcasting the meetings over much of the world, along with the advance of internet technology, there is a rapid spread of the knowledge of this outpouring that has resulted in thousands of saints and leaders converging from all over the world to catch the fire and then take it back and give it away.

As exciting as it is that there is a portal of open heavens occurring in Lakeland, Florida, even more exciting is the fact that it is contagious and transferable and available wherever hungry believers are crying out for more of God's revelation, power and presence. These are truly wondrous days of glory and grace.

What's happening there, she said, "is for the whole Body of Christ."

King believes the anointing to get out of the pews and heal others is available to anyone who comes to Lakeland or watches the revival on TV or the Internet.

She said, "I hope it's the end of spectator Christianity. I do believe it's for everyone."

When we saw her, King was getting ready to minister at the Voice of the Prophets conference in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, hosted by Randy Clark's Global Awakening ministries.

Clark is the evangelist who the Lord used to help kick off the Toronto Blessing in 1994 and he is giving a very public endorsement to what's begun in Lakeland.

Clark put out a letter to the Christian world, saying that what he's seen in Lakeland "convinces me that the season has come for another Healing Revival."

Why's he taking such a public position?

"Generally speaking, the leaders of the last revival always persecute the next one," Clark told CBN News.

He wanted to decisively break that horrible pattern.

"I felt it was very important that those of us who were leaders gave our blessing," he said.

North America's Time Has Come

For years, Clark has been sending out huge teams overseas who have taken part in the kind of divine visitation for healing he's desperately wanted in North America.

Now he's writing in that public letter "I believe the time of such a visitation has come."

He said, "The unique thing for me with this is what we've been seeing overseas we're seeing here now."

Todd Bentley, the most prominent figure God's been using in Lakeland, is ecstatic about that.

When the outpouring started, Bentley called King.

"He said, 'Patricia, the sick are being healed and it's right here in North America; it's happening right here in North America!" she recalled

King believes the Lord has told her Christians need to see how they fit in.

She said, "It's for a purpose…not just to sit in a revival night after night. It's so that you can take it back to where you're from and in your sphere of influence and just let it blaze.

"And we've been hearing testimonies of people who've even watched it on the media where it's breaking out in their regions, their churches, their nations," she added.

Clark told us, "I definitely do believe that around the world that this is already happening and I just want to get to be in on it myself."

Not only does Clark believe this revival is going to spread across the nation, but also that it's going to be big.

He says he's received several prophecies to 'get ready for the stadiums.' In other words, it's going to be so big in a city, the only place that can hold all the people coming would be a stadium."

Of these prophecies, Clark said, "I actually met three people of different races on different continents who gave me the exact same vision."

Clark feels the Lord told him of several North American cities that will soon see these stadium-size revival services break out.

It's his vision now to train up a thousand saints to minister healings in every one of those cities. That's because, as Clark wrote, "God's going to anoint 'believing believers' to take part in this new move of the Lord."

And Clark believes a hallmark in the cities God will target is that, "There'll be some people crying out 'God, we're desperate for you to come visit.'"

King added, "From Lakeland it's going to start hitting cities where there are hungry people that'll gather together in the name of Jesus and wait on Him and just release their faith to do the stuff. It's not going to be contained in one place. It's going to spread. It's going to move. It'll go from city to city."

Not Your Typical Evangelist

Clark also believes God's going to amaze "unbelieving believers" who've been taught God doesn't even do healing anymore in these days.

But one of his main concerns right now is how some fellow Christians are making harsh judgments against Bentley and the Lakeland outpouring itself.

Bentley is covered with wild, colorful tattoos and sports metal on his face. He screams out "Bam!" as he lays hands on people, many of whom immediately fall to the floor, "slain in the Spirit."

Of the revival, Clark said he's worried, "Some people are judging it because Todd doesn't look like your typical evangelist."

But Clark pointed out, "The reality is people are getting healed - and a lot of them. And the Gospel is being preached."

He begs fellow believers "Don't miss the anointing!"

Elim's position on the Lakeland Outpouring

I have written the following article to address Elim's position on the Lakeland Outpouring

Lakeland Outpouring

By Dr. Ronald V. Burgio

Since April of this year, thousands have attended meetings in Lakeland, Florida. Could this be the major move of God we’ve all been praying for? I have watched the services on God TV and attended in May with my son, Jonathan. I was amazed at the strong presence of the Lord and of the supernatural atmosphere that was in the meeting. People were being saved, healed and delivered by the dozens. A number of our own credential holders and leaders have attended and many respected leaders are supportive, including John Kilpatrick, Lou Engle, Che Ahn, Steve Hill, John Arnott, Rick Joyner, etc.

The outpouring is one of the Word and the Spirit. “… my message and my preaching were not in persuasive words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, so that your faith would not rest on the wisdom of men, but on the power of God.”

1 Corinthians 2:4-5NASU

God is doing something fresh in the earth. This is not like the revivals that we have experienced before. Because of God TV and the internet, the entire world is hearing and seeing the great things that are happening.

From the rising of the sun to its going down The LORD's name is to be praised.

Psalms 113:3 NKJV

For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea. Habakkuk 2:14 NKJV

Ken Sumrall wrote in a recent article: “Jesus told us to ‘be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.’ Therefore let us not be gullible, but we should be careful not to speak harm on the meetings…

Many misjudged the charismatic revival in the 60’s because fakes were involved. But the move turned the tide from riots in the streets to revival, and hippies in rebellion against all authority became THE JESUS PEOPLE. During that time over 25 million people were converted and filled with the Holy Spirit from every walk of life and from every denomination.

Some ministers are warning against those who give weird reports of seeing angels in the meetings. If we think the Lakeland reports of angels are weird, what should we think about Isaiah’s experience with angels in Isaiah 6 and Ezekiel’s weird experiences with angels in Ezekiel 10 and other chapters? Supernatural activities of angels are recorded in the book of Acts over 20 times. So I believe some testimonies in Lakeland are genuine and some are probably fake. Some of the acts of ministers in the 60’s were real and some we discovered were fake. With every genuine move of God come the flakes and the satanic. Paul tells us in 1 Thess 5:19-22 ‘Do not quench the Spirit. Do not despise prophecies. Test all things; hold fast what is good.’ Billy Graham said at the beginning of the charismatic renewal in 1963: ‘Something is happening and I believe it is God.’ He could have said: ‘Most of it is of God.’”

We are wise not to fight this revival. Let’s let it unfold. Revivals evolve. They develop, refine and purify or they become clearly misguided. If you pull out the tares before harvest time you can end up destroying both the wheat and the tares. You need to wait until the wheat and tares identify themselves by maturing then you can separate them. I don’t think we have reached that point yet in this move.

As Elim Fellowship credential holders we should be open to this outpouring, even embrace it, but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t be discerning. We may not agree with everything said and done, but as men and women of God, pursuing and participating in any fresh emphasis of the Holy Spirit, let us take what we feel is Biblical and compatible with our beliefs and leave the rest to Lakeland and to God.

I pray for Todd Bentley and encourage you to do the same. We need to ask God to safeguard this revival and to protect His servant from the many attacks and temptations that come to anyone who does anything for God.

My son and I received a definite impartation when we went to Lakeland. We’ve seen a marked increase of healings in our church and wherever we have gone to preach. You can check out some of the testimonies on our church website at www.lovejoy.org.

Introduction

Paul Keith and Wanda DavisGreetings friends,

I trust this finds you encouraged and mobilized into divine purposes. We are certainly encouraged by the things we are seeing take place throughout the Church and our nation. Clearly, prophetic words are being fulfilled and God's plan is moving forward at an escalated pace.

We hosted two conferences recently that we felt were strategic for this season. The first in March we co-hosted with MorningStar Ministries called Honoring the Fathers Conference. This was an amazing time of inspiration and impartation. It was built around a revelation Rick Joyner received stating if we would honor the fathers of the Latter Rain revival we would see revival within six months.

The Spirit of Revival Released in Lakeland

Two weeks after the conference the spirit of revival was released in Lakeland. It is also now resident in Charlotte with MorningStar and we are also hearing reports of others experiencing some measure of revival in other places.

I would encourage everyone to get the messages from the conference and others that have been done to honor the fathers who have paved the way before us. There is key revelation and insight imparted in the prior generation essential for our destiny. It pleases the Lord for us to do this as it is part of our Biblical mandate.

In Hebrews 13:7-8 the Spirit tells us to ardently study, contemplate and scrutinize those that have gone before us and then imitate their faith because He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. If we will meet the Lord on the same conditions of faith that our forefathers did, then He will do through us the same exploits that we read about in history.

WhiteDove Ministries also hosted our annual conference in Alabama entitled "Alabama Awaken." This was also an amazing time with Heidi Baker, Rick Joyner, Kent Mattox and Keith Miller along with other special guests. I have rarely seen such camaraderie and unity among leadership. The testimonies of healings, deliverances and divine encounters exceeded anything we have done previously.

We would likewise encourage anyone interested to obtain these messages as they were pivotal for this next expression of God's Spirit. The Cloud is moving and we must be mobilized to move with Him.

And we will be hosting another conference built around honoring the fathers in Tucson, AZ this June. There were tremendous events that occurred in the prior generation in this region that are pivotal and strategic for this next outpouring. William Branham and A. A. Allen had incredible things occur in this region. The Lord has given us a promise that we can tap into those wells of healing, deliverance and revival and release them into our day. If possible you may consider joining us for this important event.

Richest blessings of favor and grace,

The Bride's End-Time Harvest Anointing - Part 2 (to view Part 1 click here).

We are now entering a season of harvest and a time that will be known as the Bride's Revival. Church history has witnessed many expressions of outpouring and revival, but nothing like the days ahead when the Bride of Christ emerges in maturity and surrendered devotion to the Bridegroom.

Overall we are presently in the last days harvest, but it will come in multiple waves. The first harvest will be a harvest of harvesters, followed by a season of intense training and equipping. Following that, the greatest harvest of souls throughout the earth will transpire in the Bride's Revival.

Those individuals who have yielded to the preparation process will experience the transformation of their perceived wilderness into a flourishing garden with pools of spiritual water. For them, a season of breakthrough will be accomplished that makes them a spiritual habitation of God's presence and the Sevenfold Spirit of God.

In essence, there will be a deposit of the "spirit to overcome" delegated to Believers who have yielded their hearts and souls with unwavering desperation for the person of Jesus; that is what it means to be the Joshua generation. The Joshua commission is the anointing to "overcome." Heaven's empowerment will be granted to experience individual breakthrough. This grace will allow us to plant spiritual fields and vineyards that will produce bountiful harvests.

Opening Heaven's Armory

Jeremiah prophesied that:

"The LORD has opened His armory and has brought forth the weapons of His indignation, for it is a work of the Lord GOD of hosts in the land of the Chaldeans." Jeremiah 50:25

Heaven's "storehouse" to which we are now given greater access is a prophetic portrayal of the divinely powerful weapons that have been provided for us through Christ's sufferings and more importantly His resurrection. It is resurrection life that He desires to delegate. In this spiritual armory are mantles of spiritual authority and power as well as great ministries of healing and creative miracles that will result in restored limbs and organs.

Days of divine visitation are clearly marked with the miraculous. The Latter Rain revival that was initiated in 1946 is remembered as one of the most significant expressions of God's miracle working power recorded in modern church history. Many historians say it was the greatest outpouring of power since the early church.

The last 120 years of spiritual activity has functioned in the order of Moses. Clearly, Moses was one of the greatest men of God who ever lived. His intimate friendship with the Lord set a standard we aspire to today. Even so, the totality of his original mandate was not fully achieved in his lifetime. The Lord put the Spirit that was rested on Moses onto Joshua, who then carried the people into the promise.

Moses brought the people out of Egypt under God's mighty hand of power through miracles, signs and wonders; but, that generation did not cross over into their destiny because of their "stiff-necked" condition. According to Deuteronomy 29:4, they did not possess the revelatory anointing essential to co-operate with God.

Their eyes and ears were not opened and their hearts were not devoted to the revelation of Heaven's plan. As a result, they were disqualified and a season of discipline ensued.

Nevertheless, the next generation under Joshua's leadership emerged with spiritual hunger and desperation that captured Heaven's attention and positioned them for their inheritance. That is the same model we have followed over the last century.

It is the Gift of God

The Bible clearly outlines that every good and perfect gift comes from the Father of Lights. God is Light and in Him there is no shifting shadow. Consequently, we are likewise called to be light in the midst of this dark generation.

It was by His own will that He gave us birth as "sons of the Kingdom" and the "Bride of Christ" by His Word of Truth; these two callings are two sides of the same coin. We are designated to be a form of first fruits of His creation and a representation of what the "sons of the Kingdom" are called and consecrated to be.

Through his epistle to the Ephesians, the apostle Paul admonishes us to conduct ourselves as children of light. He said,

"Therefore do not be partakers with them; for you were formerly darkness, but now you are Light in the Lord; walk as children of Light for the fruit of the Light consists in all goodness and righteousness and truth, trying to learn what is pleasing to the Lord." Ephesians 5:7-10

The surest evidence of the "children of Light" and the Bride of the Bridegroom will be the clear presence of the fruit of the Spirit. This place in God qualifies us for the supernatural endowments of the Seven Spirits of God and empowers us for the harvest.

God's righteousness will begin to reflect the Spirit's nature in our lives. The display of His character in us is ultimately pleasing to the Lord and the reflection of His Light that we must possess.

Marked by Heaven

The Biblical mark of the "sons of the Kingdom" and the "Bride of Christ" is highlighted in Matthew 13 saying,

"The One who sows the good seed is the Son of Man, and the field is the world; and as for the good seed, these are the sons of the Kingdom....the harvest is the end of the age; and the reapers are angels." Matthew 13:37-39

If we are to function as the Bride of Christ and the "light" of the world, we will possess qualities consistent with the Bridegroom and children of Light by allowing Christ to be fully manifested in us. The identification, anointing and purpose of this company who overcomes are listed below.

Their Identification: The manifestation of the Fruit of the Spirit - Galatians 5:22-24:

1. Love
2. Joy
3. Peace
4. Patience
5. Kindness
6. Goodness
7. Faithfulness
8. Gentleness
9. Self-Control

Their Anointing: The Seven Spirits of God - Isaiah 11:2

1. Spirit of the Lord
2. Spirit of Wisdom
3. Spirit of Understanding
4. Spirit of Counsel
5. Spirit of Might
6. Spirit of Knowledge
7. Spirit of Reverential Fear of the Lord

Their Purpose: To reveal the twelve names illustrating the divine character of God and His primary redemptive attributes manifested in the Person of Jesus:

1. Lord Our Shepherd
2. Lord Our Provider
3. Lord Our Righteousness
4. Lord Our Peace
5. Lord Our Healer
6. Lord Our Banner
7. Lord Who Sanctifies
8. Lord Of Hosts
9. Lord Most High
10. Lord Who Smites
11. Lord of Recompense
12. Lord is Present

Our Mandate

The prophet Ezekiel was taken to a valley of dry bones. He was not instructed to condemn them, but to prophesy life to them. He said,

"I prophesied as He commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they came to life and stood on their feet, an exceedingly great army. Then He said to me, 'Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel; behold, they say, "Our bones are dried up and our hope has perished. We are completely cut off."

Therefore prophesy and say to them, "Thus says the Lord GOD, 'Behold, I will open your graves and cause you to come up out of your graves, My people; and I will bring you into the land of Israel.'"

That is our hope and expectation. We desire to breathe life into dry bones and begin to see them take shape and form a troop of those who overcome.

Though the western church may look like a valley of dry bones, I believe the Lord sees her prophetically as an exceedingly great army. We are convinced our nation and the western church has an incredible destiny yet to be fulfilled as a leader among nations to introduce the Bride's Revival globally. When people are given a glimpse of their individual role in that destiny, it transforms them and sets them on the course to repentance and the impartation of the Christ-like nature.

They see the cause of God and are forever changed and have the joy of their salvation restored. We are seeing that happen now. Strongholds of hopelessness, despair, depression and other oppressive mind-sets will be overcome when God's "Zoe" life is breathed into this army and begins to function as the Bride of the Bridegroom.
