Keith Luker: "THE PROPHETIC COSMIC CHORUS--WE ARE INVITED TO SING 'WITH' ALL OF HEAVEN"

The following article by Keith Luker is courtesy of elijahlist.com

"Prophetic Worship is the most powerful force in the Universe."

keith lukerJoin the Cosmic Worship Service

We are living in the most exciting times in the history of mankind on the earth! All nations are streaming to the mountain of the Lord in worship. The global prayer movement is taking over churches, infusing passion and life into all believers. The acceptance of prophecy is at an all-time high in the Church and especially in the marketplace...outside the walls of the Church! The worship of God in the earth has morphed into a wonderfully creative, dynamic, free expression of all kinds of gifts, movement, color, sound, light, art, culture, language and glory!

People all over the world are discovering tremendous freedom in singing spontaneously to God as the Holy Spirit moves them. This ancient, but fresh, expression of Prophetic Worship finally has come into its own in our day. Praise God! I remember, even a few years ago, that the best "spontaneous song" you ever heard in church was a one-chord "Hallelujah, Hallelujah" over and over that lasted about 90 seconds max!

Today, we see more and more churches, home groups, and individual believers singing the "song of the Lord" in worship as a dynamic two-way conversation with God that attracts His presence in a very intimate way as nothing else can.

Why is the Lord so captivated by this? God is a singing God! Prophetic Worship simply is listening for the songs and sounds of Heaven--and singing and playing those songs back to God.

Zephaniah 3:17 stuns us with the fact that God the Father rejoices over us with songs of joy, "The LORD your God is with you, He is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing."

Hebrews 2:12 gives us a profound picture of the Lord Jesus singing the praises of the Father in the midst of the congregation, "He says, 'I will declare Your name to My brothers; in the presence of the congregation I will sing Your praises.'"

Ephesians 5:18-19 opens the windows of revelation to the mysterious "odes of the Spirit" that we are to sing when we are full of the Spirit. "Spiritual songs" in this passage are the songs the Holy Spirit Himself is singing! "...be filled with the Spirit. Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord...."

We have been invited by God to join the cosmic worship service, which includes the Godhead, billions of angels, the entire creation, and a numberless host of saints who have gone before us. This mighty, eternal chorus is absolutely the most powerful force on the earth and in Heaven. Perhaps you are asking, "How can this be?"

Prophetic Worship is the most powerful force in the universe, simply because it is joining Heaven in the one activity that will continue into eternity...worship. It is literally, "Thy Kingdom Come!" To sing along with the Holy Spirit is the ultimate Divine exchange. God sings a song, we hear the song, and sing it back to Him. The Bride and the Bridegroom are locked in a Heavenly duet of love that goes on forever and ever. What could be more significant than this?

A Vision of New Worship

The time is coming, and now is, when true worshippers will worship the Father in Spirit...

In 1992, I saw a vision of congregational worship that has riveted my attention for fifteen years now. I saw worship teams showing up with no song list, and the Holy Spirit simply gave each song to worshippers as they yielded to Him. There was great unity and harmony among the worshippers, and we all listened as much as we played and sang. We heard the sounds and songs of Heaven and simply joined in. Then I saw angels and the cloud of witnesses and God Himself joining us, as we sang these glorious melodies and harmonies.

This fantastic culture of worship matured to such a degree that most of the songs soon came from people in the congregation. The band and singers on the stage simply facilitated and supported what was happening among the people. There were times when hundreds of people would catch a song from Heaven at the same time, and all would sing together as one practiced voice!

As the presence of God grew stronger and more powerful, the literal glory of God descended in manifest form as a cloud that everyone could see with their eyes. Miracles, salvations and deliverances all happened spontaneously in this electric atmosphere. No one in the congregation or on the stage was left standing, as we all were pressed down to the ground and unable to stand, because of the awesome power of God's manifest presence.

I have never recovered from this vision, and I believe that we are just beginning to touch the hem of His garment this year. Let's press in for all that He has for us!

And around the throne they NEVER STOP SINGING, "Holy Holy Holy is the Lord God Almighty--who was and is and is to come...."

Holy Holy, indeed!

halloween hospital -- Culture of Death or Culture of Life?

by Joe Cuda

It was 12 days before halloween as my wife, son, and I walked through the halls of a local hospital. With the attendant pushing my father-in-law in a wheelchair, we were headed for the C. C. U. where he would spend the day undergoing some necessary heart procedures. The night before was very draining emotionally; my mother-in-law was taken to the emergency room of a different hospital 30 miles from our home, making it impossible to be with them both on this day. Needless to say, our family was experiencing considerable stress.

A right turn, a left turn, another left, then a right again, and we were at the entrance of the C.C.U. Much to my surprise, on the door was a poster of a witch. Draped across the poster was yellow tape stating "Caution: Enter if you dare". I thought, "Do I want my father-in-law going through that door?" Of course, I knew he needed to because that was where the heart procedures would take place. So we proceeded through the door.

I was shocked as the door opened -- the lights were dim, and the nurse's station was draped with thick, dangling cobwebs all around it. In the middle, hanging overhead, were four ghoulish heads. Ghost-like figures, skeletons, spiders, bats, and other creatures of the night were splashed around the nurse's station which was at the hub of a half circle of patient’s rooms, each door opening a mere six feet away from this shadowy, eerie presentation. The hallway was clothed with more of the same.

My thoughts immediately went to my father-in-law having to spend the day in this dark environment and how that might affect him negatively. My wife went with him to the room that he would be in for the day. My son and I waited in the hall as the door closed.

A minute later a nurse came back out the door and told me the waiting room for C.C.U. was down the hall. I said, "Thank you", and began to express to her, in a polite tone of voice, how disappointed I was with the surroundings that my father-in-law had to be in all day. The nurse’s response was curt as she told me, “Not everyone has those same feelings!” She whirled around and went back through the door.

My son and I headed to the waiting room. As we entered the place where we would be waiting for the next few hours, I literally had to bend over to avoid getting "cobwebs" in my hair. The only light in there was green and turned down low. More ghoulish faces and skeletons could be seen hanging from the ceiling along with bunches of spiders all around the room. This was just over-the-top, especially for a hospital!

Walking out to see if we could find a waiting room that wasn't covered with all this stuff, my wife came out of the C. C. U. and met us in the hall. As we talked she made this statement, "A hospital should not be a culture of death, but a culture of life!" She hit the nail on the head. In those few words she summed up everything I was feeling, but not quite able to express.

While we were talking, the nurse came out in the hall. My wife shared with her that the hospital should be a place of healing, a place of safety, and a place of life. It should not be a place where death is waved in your face. It should not be a place where the ceiling, walls, and counter tops are dripping with bloody body parts, (though they be artificial) murder, and other occult symbolism.

The nurse said she could do nothing about it, but she would call a supervisor so we could relay our thoughts to a person who would listen and might possibly do something about it. We found a waiting room in the lobby that was not filled with halloween “gore” and told the nurse where we would be.

About 15 minutes later a very nice lady on the hospital board came and met with us. We spoke of our concerns and the view that a hospital should have a culture of life. After listening, she said she would take what we had told her and present it at the next board meeting in a couple weeks. We said thank you and we would be looking forward to hearing the results.

We didn't have to wait for 2 weeks to hear back from her. About 20 minutes later she came back and told us the "culture of death" decorations were being taken down in the C. C. U. waiting room and we could return there. Also, the ghoulish decorations were being taken down and the hospital board would be looking into this and come up with a specific policy regarding halloween for next year, her input being to adhere to a pleasant harvest theme.

My father-in-law's procedure was successful that day and we thanked God that he was doing well. We were also very happy that the visible "culture of death" was being changed into a "culture of life" in this hospital. All it took was someone willing to speak up with a point of view that made sense, and someone else willing to listen and make changes for the better.

Consider these words from a very wise book:
"I am now giving you the choice between life and death, between God's blessing and God's curse, and I call heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Choose life." Deuteronomy 30:19 (GNT)

Pray for California - 5768 is a year of FIRE and BEING HOT!

The following is courtesy of Chuck Pierce.

Continue to pray for California. The Lord led me to be in California on the first day of the Feast of Tabernacles this year. I felt California would be the first state that would reflect what this year is about. Here is what I shared about the year 5768: The number eight (8) is always linked with new beginnings! This Hebrew word is linked with life and being hot. We move from rain and floods to wind and fire! The Lord will both burn away the dross in our lives and territories and then unlock new passion. Our testings from the fire produce gold this year. We are entering into a year where we must choose to be hot,and filled with passion, so we can conceive our future! Choose the fire and the zeal of God! Let's decree that the people of California lead us into this year of new beginning.

Blessings,
Chuck D. Pierce

Great REVIVAL QUOTES

From Sermonindex.net

“The chief danger of the Church today is that it is trying to get on
the same side as the world, instead of turning the world upside
down. Our Master expects us to accomplish results, even if they
bring opposition and conflict. Anything is better than compromise,
apathy, and paralysis. God give to us an intense cry for the
old-time power of the Gospel and the Holy Ghost!” - A. B. Simpson

“We Christians too often substitute prayer for playing the game.
Prayer is good; but when used as a substitute for obedience, it is
nothing but a blatant hypocrisy, a despicable Pharisaism...To your
knees, man! and to your Bible! Decide at once! Don't hedge! Time
flies! Cease your insults to God, quit consulting flesh and blood.
Stop your lame, lying, and cowardly excuses. Enlist!"
- C. T. Studd

"Without the Spirit of God, we can do nothing. We are as ships
without wind. We are useless." - Charles Spurgeon

"A Revived Church is the only hope for a dying world."
- Dr Andrew Murray

"The greatest need of this generation is a wholehearted return to
the plan and purposes of God." - Dr Richard Owen Roberts

"It is time to seek the Lord until He comes and rains righteousness
upon you." - Hosea

"When revival becomes a reality, it is always manifested in a
devotion to be like Jesus.

What would happen in our day if believers were to get honest
about their sin and serious about pursuing holiness?

Might we not once again experience the manifest presence of God
in our churches?"

"REVIVAL is GOD'S FINGER POINTING AT ME !!"
- Dr M. Lloyd-Jones

"Revival is God revealing Himself to men in awesome holiness and
irresistible power." - Arthur Wallis

"Revival is a movement of the Holy Spirit bringing about a revival of
New Testament Christianity in the Church of Christ and its related
community." - Dr James Edwin Orr

"The re-animation of the life of the believer... there can only be
revival when there is life to revive." - Dr Campbell-Morgan

"A people saturated with God." - Brian Edwards

"Revival is simply New Testament Christianity, the saints going
back to normal." - Vance Havner

"The Christian church going back to the God-given norm."
- Selwyn Hughes

"Revival brings back a holy shock to apathy and carelessness."
- Winkie Pratney

"Nothing more than a return to Apostolic Christianity" - John Morgan

"Revival and evangelism, although closely linked, are not to be
confused. Revival is an experience in the Church, evangelism is an
expression of the church." - Paul Rees

"In revival, holiness becomes a constant necessity, rather than an
occasional option." - Mark Stippe

"Revival is about God, His children meeting with God, the nation
being confronted with Him." - Colin Urquhart

"Revival is God taking the field." - Colin Whitaker

"The arousing, quickening, and reclaiming of the backsliders in the
church and the general awakening of the classes, and insuring
attention to the claims of God." - Charles Finney

Bound4LIFE- "Prayer and fasting, that's all the help I need."

This news comes from Bound 4 Life.

After you read it, consider this: Is the outcome of the 2008 elections worth a year of fasting? Leave a comment with your thoughts.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Pick up the October 22, 2007 issue of U.S. News & World Report and you'll find Bound4LIFE featured in an article titled "A Brewing Fight on the Right." There seems to be a growing question on the conscience of the Church right now, "Is abortion a non-negotiable, or are we willing to compromise when our back is against the wall?"

Since the 2006 elections, we've been praying relentlessly, "God, drive the abortion issue like a wedge into the 2008 elections." He seems to be answering our prayers because the abortion issue isn't going away quietly. In fact, it seems to be more polarizing than ever.

James Dobson of Focus on the Family recently spoke regarding a large number of Christian leaders that had convened to discuss potential outcomes of the Primaries and 2008 Elections. A dissatisfaction was expressed because there doesn't appear to be a current front runner that is unquestionably pro-life. One idea that is sending shock waves throughout the political arena is that of a possible third-party candidate that would embody the values of conservative, pro-life, pro-family constituents.

While that approach is clearly controversial, I appreciate Dr. Dobson's unswerving conviction. In an interview last week with Fox News' Sean Hannity, Dobson stated,
"Sean, for 35 years, I've been trying to defend the unborn child. And 19 years ago, in 1988, I came to Washington, and there were 400,000 people at the Washington Monument. And I stood up there on that day -- we still have it on videotape -- where I said, 'I pledge hereby never for the rest of my life to vote for anyone who would kill innocent babies.' That's been my life. That's been my belief, along with marriage and the family and the other things. I can't now abandon that because we've got two bad choices here."
(Click here for the full transcript and video)
Since Bound4LIFE began precisely three years ago this month, nearly 300,000 life bands have been mobilized. That's a lot of highly-motivated voters that have voluntarily made the covenant to PRAY, VOTE & OBEY. I call all of you now to remember that solemn commitment. Here in America, the Church has been cowed into silence on anything remotely resembling politics. Yes, it is true that the Church cannot endorse specific candidates, but abortion is not a candidate; it is an issue. I believe it is THE issue, and the Church still has the right to speak at great length regarding the "issues."

I am encouraging you at this time to please pray for our leaders. Commit to praying for courageous leaders like James Dobson and others as they "give articulation to the silent groan of the masses." Please pray for a clarion call to the Church to come forth. Concluding his interview with Hannity, Dobson said, "Sean, this is a matter for prayer. I'm sure you agree with that." Hannity's response was staggering and nothing less than a prophetic call to us. "I pray every day, and I absolutely agree. Prayer and fasting, that's all the help I need." My head jerked quickly as I thought, "What did he just say?" Way beyond a generic acknowledgment of God or prayer, he said "prayer and fasting."

Could it be true? I believe it is. Therefore, I humbly urge you to consider entering into a YEAR OF FASTING leading up to the 2008 elections. No uniform parameters-no specifics. I'm simply asking that you individually seek the Lord for whatever level of fasting He might lead you as your personal capabilities permit. Would you commit to a full year of focused prayer and fasting regarding abortion, the elections, the courts and the future of America?
