"WHAT'S COMING IN 2007?--WHAT'S COMING IS BIG!"

The following article is from www.elijahlist.com

By Wesley and Stacey Campbell

"Why do the nations rage, and the peoples plot in vain?...The One who sits in Heaven laughs...." Psalm 2:1, 4

wes and stacy campbellPsalm 2 is an apt text for the year 2007. In this Psalm, we see that the earth is raging, but Heaven is laughing. Therefore, our perspective for the year 2007 must come from hearing the laughter of Heaven, and not the rage of the nations.

If the Church can hear the laughter of the One who sits in the Heavens, she will not shrink back from the great harvest ahead of her in the midst of judgment; rather, she will rush in with miracles and mercy to even the hardest fields of America and the rest of the world.

What's coming is BIG! The Lord has spoken to me that "there's a second Timothy movement coming!" As I heard those words in my spirit, simultaneously I "saw" breakouts on university and college campuses, media flashes, and articles in newspapers of a virtual revolution of reconstruction breaking out among North America's youth.

A Second Timothy Movement

"This new breed of Timothys will 'cross over' into prophetic promises...."

I understood that the second Timothy movement was a play on words, because as I heard the words, instantly Timothy Leary, one of the men behind the deconstruction of the moral fiber of America, came to mind. God was telling me that what Timothy Leary did in breaking down Biblical morality in the social fabric of America was going to be challenged by a new breed of "Timothys"; not a Timothy Leary movement, but a Timothy "Hearing" movement--a generation of youth who will hear the will of God and do it.

What I saw was explosive, and my spirit jumped inside. I could see the Spirit of God brooding over the moral void of North American culture, and I understood that underneath the surface, as yet imperceptible to the masses, God has been instilling in a generation a desire for reformation. He is creating a new breed that wants to see radical changes in the world, changes like the end of abortion, the end of poverty, and the end of AIDS.

This new breed of Timothys will "cross over" into prophetic promises given to their spiritual fathers and mothers, teaming up with them to confront these immoral giants and bring them down. I see a movement of a million kids for a million kids, a Joel 2:15 army who will change society--for the better--instead of society changing them.

So get ready! The souls of millions of children at risk are about to be brought out of the kingdom of darkness and into the Kingdom of light. Because of the significant increase in global prayer during the past decade, the spiritual climate of the world has changed. There has been a shift in one generation--away from materialism and towards righteousness and compassion. A reformation revival is already percolating under the surface and will be brought to the fore in 2007.

Greatest Revival Still Ahead

"What was once far off has become a reality in our generation."

We believe that the greatest revival of mankind is still yet ahead of us. In the book of Revelation, John foresaw a global revival of colossal proportions coming from every nation, tribe, people, and language: "Then I saw another angel flying in midair, and he had the eternal gospel to proclaim to those who live on the earth--to every nation, tribe, language and people" (Revelation 14:6).

Significantly, all people groups were represented. Only recently has the certainty of reaching every group on earth come within reach. For the first time in history, we are coming to the place where a functioning Church, with a Bible in their own language, will have representation from every nation, tribe, people, and language. What was once far off has become a reality in our generation. Coinciding with this final success of the missionary movement is the rapid increase of the Church.

Today, Christianity is the fastest growing religion in the world. Religious demographers tell us that of all conversions since the time of Jesus, an amazing one-third of them have come into the Kingdom in the last ten to fifteen years. Jesus affirmed that the time of the end coincides with the gospel going to every people group: "And this gospel of the Kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come" (Matthew 24:14).

John's vision in Revelation 7, holds a unique key to this end-time harvest. When he saw "the great multitude that no one could count from every nation, tribe, people, and language" (verse 9), he was asked two questions by the angel, "Who are they, and where did they come from?" (verse 13). Not wanting to give the wrong answer, John said, "Sir...you know." Then John was told, "These are they who have come out of the great tribulation" (verse 14). If this vision and the great harvest are yet to be fulfilled, the angel might as well ask the same question of us today-- "Who are they, and where will they come from?"

Where Will They Come From?

A simple comparison of populations will show us where the masses of humanity live. Those who will make up the "great multitude" do not live in the wealthy West.

For example, the United States and Canada, with a population of only 325 million, is only 1/20th (five percent) of the population of the earth. When these numbers are compared to the staggering populations of the earth--East Asia and the Asia Pacific Region (including China and Indonesia) with 1.8 billion, South Asia (including India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh) with 1.4 billion, or the sub-continent of Africa with 680 million, we cannot help but be confronted with the obvious--the masses don't live here!

When God's Spirit is poured out on all flesh, there will be a whole lot more flesh to receive Him in China, India, and Africa, than in what is coined as the "Developed Nations."

Who Are They?

"We will see masses of young people begin to expend time, energy, and money to help the half-dead on the side of the road."

The answer to who are they is simple--they are the poor! 75 percent of the world is poor. And, since half of the world's population are women, and close to half (40 percent) are children under the age of fifteen, it's obvious that the overwhelming demographics of the planet are poor women and children at risk.

Thus, the reformation revival we are predicting will be driven by the West becoming burdened to reach out to the rest. The reformation and reconstruction we are talking about is nothing less than the application of the first and second commandment--"Love God and love your neighbor as yourself" (Mark 12:30-31 paraphrased).

In the second Timothy movement, we will see thousands of well-to-do North Americans who will begin to seek God in an experiential way (see 1 Corinthians 14:1), thus opening the door to miracles and the supernatural. As they hear the will of God, they will reach out like the Good Samaritan to those who are in their way. We will see masses of young people begin to expend time, energy, and money to help the half-dead on the side of the road (see Luke 10:30).

God is sovereignly blowing this mercy wind, and its effects go far beyond the Church. Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, Bono, and Branson are only the beginning. We will see more and more people (religious and nonreligious) begin reaching out to the half-dead children at risk and their poor mothers (if they have them).

In 2007 and beyond, the reconstruction movement will begin to attack the following:

Abortion

It has been said that one of the least safe places in the world for a child to live is in his mother's womb. "It is estimated that 1 in 4 pregnancies worldwide ends in abortion, and 40 million abortions may occur annually. Some countries may have as many abortions as live births."

Grinding Poverty

500 million people are hungry and another 500 million are so poor that they don't consume enough food to render them productive. It is estimated that over 33,000 children under five years old die every day due to preventable diseases--pneumonia, diarrhea, measles, malaria, and malnutrition. One child dies every three seconds. Putting it in perspective, it's like a Boeing 747 jumbo jet full of five hundred children crashing to their deaths every twenty-two minutes, of every hour, of every day.

Street Children

150 million children live on the street. Action International says that by 2020, there could be as many as 800 million! The UN says that the street children situation is one of the worst crises facing the nations of the world.

Child Labor and Slavery

250 million children are forced to work worldwide, some as slaves and some to support families.

Sexual Exploitation

World Vision estimates that between 10 to 14 million children are victims of the sex trade, and another one million children enter the prostitution racket every year.

Of the one million prostitutes in Thailand, eighty percent are under eighteen years of age.

AIDS and Plagues

Of the 22 million people who have died of AIDS, 4.5 million of them have been children. If trends continue in South Africa, fifty-percent of the teenage girls who are fifteen years old now, will be dead of AIDS in ten years.

Wars: Death, Disablement, and Displacement

In the decade since the adoption of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, more than 2 million children have been killed and more than 6 million injured or disabled in armed conflicts. 15 million children have been displaced within their countries or made refugees. Presently, 300,000 children are fighting someone else's war.

Religious Persecution

200 million Christians suffer torture, imprisonment, and persecution for no other crime than that they call Jesus, "Lord."

Reaping a Harvest of the Poor--Saving Children at Risk

What's coming in 2007 and beyond? The nations will rage, but Heaven will laugh. And those who hear His laughter will, like Peter watching Jesus instead of the storm, rise above the rage of nations to do supernatural miracles of mercy and social justice for the multitudes of the earth that need it--women and children at risk. So be careful what you listen to.

This is the coming movement--miracles and mercy for "...the poor, the crippled, the blind, and the lame" (Luke 14:21 paraphrased). The thirst for the supernatural will be fulfilled. The idyllic quest for peace and love will come into focus through beholding His face, no matter what goes on around us.

The peacemakers and merciful will bring in the Kingdom of God!

Merry Christmas!

One of the things that has really been blessing me during this season is that I have been hearing "Merry Christmas" much more than "Happy Holidays" this year while shopping. As a matter of fact, I do not recall any "Happy Holidays" at all this year.

I remember walking up to a check-out counter in early December and the clerk said, "Merry Christmas". I was shocked -- but my shock disappeared quickly as a big smile came over my face, and I replied, "Merry Christmas to you!"

Those encounters with clerks and other employees of many different stores continued throughout the month. Everytime I heard "Merry Christmas" my heart leapt for joy and I knew there was still hope for our culture in America.

The hope wasn't based on employees being allowed to say "Merry Christmas" again, but it was based on Christ, the One who came as a babe 2000 years ago and brought us hope.

The Christ of Christmas is alive in my heart today. My hope is in Him! I pray yours is too. If it is not, please email us, and the Christ of Christmas can become a reality to you. He loves you with an everlasting love and is waiting for you to call upon Him.

May the love of Jesus reach you wherever you are, and may your Christmas be filled with Him.

MERRY CHRISTMAS to all our friends and those who are about to become our friends.

With much Love,
Joe, Shirley & Joel

POWERFUL QUOTES on PRAYER

QUOTES collected by Josef Urban.

"I have never known a person sweat blood; but I have known a person pray till the blood started from his nose. And I have known persons to pray till they were all wet with perspiration, in the coldest weather in winter. I have known persons pray for hours, till their strength was all exhausted with the agony of their minds.Such prayers prevailed with God." - Charles G. Finney"

God will do nothing except in answer to prayer." - John Wesley

"Bear up the hands that hang down, by faith and prayer, support the tottering knees. Have you any days of fasting and prayer? Storm the Throne of Grace and persevere therein, and mercy will come down." - John Wesley

"The true man of God is heartsick, grieved at the worldliness of the Church...grieved at the toleration of sin in the Church, grieved at the prayerlessness in the Church. He is disturbed that the corporate prayer of the Church no longer pulls down the strongholds of the devil. A man may study because his brain is hungry for knowledge, even Bible knowledge. But he prays because his soul is hungry for God. We live in a generation that has never known revival God's way. True revival changes the moral climate of an area or a nation. Without exception, all true revivals of the past began after years of agonizing, hell-robbing, earth-shaking, heaven-sent intercession. The secret to true revival in our own day is still the same. But where, oh, where, are the intercessors?" - Leonard Ravenhill

"The prayers and supplications that Christ offered up were, joined with strong cries and tears, here in setting us example not only topray, but to be fervent and importune in prayer. How many dry prayers, how few wet ones, do we offer up to God!" - Matthew Henry

"You must go forward on your knees." - Hudson Taylor

"Groanings which cannot be uttered are often prayers which cannot be refused." - Charles Spurgeon"

We are too busy to pray, and so we are too busy to have power. We have a great deal of activity, but we accomplish little; many services but few conversions; much machinery but few results." -R.A. Torrey

"You must pray with all your might. That does not mean saying your prayers, or sitting gazing about in church or chapel with eyes wide open while someone else says them for you. It means fervent, effectual, untiring wrestling with God...This kind of prayer, be sure, the devil and the world and your own indolent, unbelieving nature will oppose. They will pour water on this flame." - William Booth

Interesting Quote

An interesting quote from Winston Churchill.

"Without tradition Art is just a flock of sheep without a shepherd. Without innovation, it is a corpse."

Think about that for a while. It can even extend past ART to other areas of Church and life.

Going Through the Door of Your Future:

Stand, Review & Renew Your Vision, Decree Your Future, and Establish Your Position!

A 40-Day Prayer Focus from Chuck Pierce

Day 1: Read Psalm 149, Psalm 29, and Isaiah 49. In these 40 days, hear His voice so your wilderness breaks. Let praise arise within you. Ask the Lord for you to become a 2-edged sword during these 40 days. Be willing to go and worship at the high place of resistance.
Day 2: Read Ezra 4,8,9. Do not allow the enemy’s resistance to keep you from moving toward restoration. Ask the Lord to show you when to fast for three straight days. See the small window of revival and opportunity that is at hand for you during these 40 days.
Day 3: Read Nehemiah 4. Find your place in the gap and on the wall. Governments are changing. This is the time to rebuild nations. Listen carefully for the Lord’s trumpet or prophetic word! Review your weapons of war. Evaluate your troops or staff. Keep building in the midst of confusion.
Day 4: A day of rest and refocusing for the times ahead.
Day 5: Read Esther 4, 8-10. Fast today! (Let God choose your fast.) Ask the Lord to have you commit to finding your place corporately to better help the Body fight against the enemy. Find your place in a corporate prayer meeting, whether at work or in church. Be willing to boldly enter in to the King’s Throne Room. Ask for favor to win the war ahead!
Day 6: Read Jeremiah 29, especially vs. 11-14andJeremiah 11, 12. The Lord has a plan for your prosperity and success. Ask the Lord to reveal any covenant breaking plan the enemy has devised against your life. Ask the Lord to give you strength to “contend with the horses” and withstand “the roar of the lion”, your adversary. Let the roar of God arise in you; be determined to cross over your Jordan.
Day 7: Read Matthew 4 and Luke 4. Close the door to Satan’s temptations. Resist the tempter. Speak the right word at the right time. Declare your assigned wilderness is creating a new power within you to stand. You can resist! Read Matthew 7 (especially vss. 7-12). Ask, knock, seek, and receive.
Day 8: Read Psalm 37 (especially vss. 1-9, 29-37). Build this revelation into your life. Do not fret because of evil around you. Ask to inherit the land.
Day 9: Read Job 22: 19–30. See, receive, and decree a thing and watch God establish it for you.
Day 10:Read I Kings 17-18. This is a time for nations to change. Let the prophets arise and decree. Be like Elijah and legislate the heavens. Move with God from provision to provision. Be willing to confront the structure that is resisting your forward progress. Ask the Lord for a great awareness of the word of the Lord! Watch for a time to intercede to bring the word into a new place of manifestation.
Day 11:Read I Kings 19 and James 5. Watch your passion level! We are a people with passions and emotions like Elijah. Are you emotionally drained and expended. What word are you warring with? Do you need a new word for the next battle? Have you established your place at the gate of entry that the Lord has for your future? Are you being confronted by a strongman that makes you want to run for your life? Have you come out of your abiding place? Do you feel vulnerable? Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord.
Day 12: Read Mark 8:22-26. Cry out for new vision and allow the Lord to lead you from an old, familiar place. Sometimes our familiar surroundings tend to blind us. Jesus led the blind man out of town to heal him. The first time He touched his eyes, vision formed but was not clear.
Day 13: Read Mark 8:22-26 AGAIN. Cry out for clear vision! Notice the process of vision. Do not grow weary in the Lord’s process or method. Allow Him to touch you again! Allow clarity to come into your vision.
Day 14: Read Habakkuk 1. Habakkuk means “embrace.” To embrace, you must let go of one thing in order to passionately grab hold of something else. Ask the Lord about certain things that have hindered you in the past, and then receive a watchman anointing so you can peer into what God has for you in the future.
Day 15: Read Habakkuk 2 and 3, especially 2:1– 4 and 3: 1, 2, 17-19. Write your new and refined vision. Ask God for a revived heart. Sing the wonderful hymn of faith from verses 17-19. Look down at your feet and see that God is giving you hind’s feet to leap on high places.
Day 16:Memorize Proverbs 29:18 (paraphrased): “Where there is no vision, redemptive revelation of God, prophetic utterance, or restrained boundaries, the people perish. But he who keeps the law of God, which includes that of man, will be happy, fortunate and enviable.” Also read 1 Samuel 3 and Amos 8:11-12.
Day 17: Read John 9:1-12. There are some things you are going through that are strictly for the “glory of God” to be demonstrated in you. Let Him anoint you and then “go” where He would send you. Be sure you are properly connected. The pool of Siloam meant “Sent.” This is the Greek word linked with apostle. Be sure you evaluate the leadership connections in your life.
Day 18: Read John 9:13-41. Do not be afraid of confrontations. Sometimes questions and conflicts establish vision and your relationships for the future.
Day 19:Read Isaiah 30:15-21, Is. 32, Is. 33:1-6. Decree that your spirit will be quiet and your vision clear. Cry out until you see Holy Spirit moving in a new way. Do not allow words, tumult or confusion to sidetrack you. Ask the Lord to bring you into a place of stability!
Day 20: Read Joshua 1. Ask the Lord to settle your mind. When we meditate on God’s plan for our life we are assured of success. Let God circumcise your heart again. Let Him sever any fleshly deed that could be hindering you. Ask Him to remove any reproach. Expect new supply to begin. There comes a time when your “manna” ceases!
Day 21:Read John 7. Jesus participated in this great feast. This is where He taught us about springs of living water being down deep in our innermost being. This actually means our womb. Ask the Lord to bring forth that which He has conceived in you.
Day 22: Read Joshua 5:13-15. Even though Joshua had been with Moses 40 years, Joshua had to have his own revelation of who God was before he moved forward. Enter into a new dimension of humility for God’s divine leading in your life.
Day 23: Read Joshua 6 and 7. We all have our Jericho. That is the invincible place we have to face before we can advance into our promise. Do not be afraid to face that which seems invincible to you.
Day 24: Read II Kings 2. Elisha was willing to follow to the end so he could SEE the supply that was in Heaven. Don’t quit pursuing until you get to the end of a thing.
Day 25: Read II Kings 6: 8-23. Because Elisha saw into the heavenlies, he could pray for his servant to see Heaven’s supply when the enemy had them besieged. The supply is in the heavenlies for you. See into the invisible. Let God blind your enemies.
Day 26: Read Ephesians: 1, 2:1-10, 3:10,17-21, 4:1-16, 6:10-20. See your spiritual blessings in heavenly places. See who you are in Christ. Receive grace through faith. Ask for the love of God to go deeper in you.
Day 27: Read Psalms 92. Receive a new anointing and SEE your desire on your enemy. Flourish from your new vision.
Day 28.: Read Colossians 1-3. Decree that powers and principalities submit to the wisdom the Lord has released during this time though you.
Day 29: Read I Samuel 9, 16, 17. Receive the “seer” anointing. Saul gave a gift to Samuel and learned where his donkeys were. Declare that you will see your losses recovered. Recognize that God does not see the way man sees. Be anointed like David. Once you see the way God sees and receive the anointing He releases on you, take your Goliath down. Just be sure you’re clothed the way you’re supposed to be clothed before you go into war against him.
Day 30: Read I Corinthians 2. Receive supernatural wisdom, inaccessible to the enemy. Let God show your eyes things that no eyes have seen. Let the Holy Spirit reveal God’s mind to you.
Day 31: Read Revelations 1. You are blessed by reading the book of Revelation. Know that He is the Revelator, the One that uncovers and causes you to see. Get to know Him as Alpha and Omega. At this time He is both beginning and ending certain things in our lives.
Day 32: Read Revelation 2 & 3. Notice how He commended each church, pointed out the weakness of each church, instructed each church and reiterated the promise of each church. Let Him do the same for you.
Day 33: Read Revelation 4. A door is a place for leaving as well as entering. There are some things we need to leave behind. Make a list of the doors you need to shut. See certain doors in your life, ministry and future that are in transition. Get a new vision of the throne room of Heaven. Let the Lord say to you, “Come up here.” Let Him show you your open doors. Let Him now show you your future.
Day 34: Read Revelation 5. Declare that the Lamb is worthy. Read this chapter out loud! Worship the Lord! He has invaded the atmosphere of the land around you! Thank Him that Heaven has invaded your earthly domain and the fragrance of heaven is overpowering your situations and conflicts.
Day 35: Read Revelation 12. Declare the accuser has been overcome and you have an open door to advance into the future. Develop a strategy to secure your victory for the next two years.
Day 36: Read Genesis 12, 26:1-17. Ask the Lord to give you a revelation of the power of blessings!
Day 37: Read Genesis 26:18-21. With blessing comes provision and prosperity. If the Philistines had understood the principles of blessing, they would have permitted the redigging of the wells and then benefited from the water released there. Instead, they chose to stop up the wells and block blessing. Ask the Lord to keep you moving forward in the midst of anger, contention and enmity.
Day 38: Read Genesis 26:22-33. If you will keep moving forward, blessing those who have wronged you, they will eventually see the favor of God on your life. There will come a time when your enemies bless you. Decree that every word that the enemy has sent against you will turn to a blessing.
Day 39: A Day of Celebration and Praise. There is power in praise! Read and do Psalm 150. If you have the authority to call together a corporate meeting for praise, do so. If you can influence a leader to have a day of celebration, please do so. If not, find an instrument or produce a sound of praise.
Day 40: A Day of Anointing. Anoint yourself! Anoint your home! Anoint your office! Anoint the projects you are working on! Anoint your heart and brain so that they work together and bring forth the creative ideas for your future! Anoint your family! The anointing breaks the yoke (Isaiah 10:27). Decree that the “robbers” of your past will be overtaken by the anointing that is on you for the future. Decree a 7-fold return and increase over your life.

On the Road Part 2

We left The Dalles, Oregon about 7:30 A.M. and drove about 5 more hours until reaching our destination -- Couer D' Alene, ID.
Joe had a dream back in June about "Quantum". A couple weeks later we heard about a conference called "Quantum Leap" that would be held in November. We heard the Lord tell us to come to it. The following is an exert from an August Blog to fill you in on the dream:

"The Quantum Leap"
"For God does speak—now one way, now another— though man may not perceive it. In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls on men as they slumber in their beds..." Job 33:14-15

"On June 19, 2006 Joe had a dream. There was not much to the dream but Joe believed it was from God. He shared it with Shirley when he woke up and she felt it was a God-dream also.

"In the dream Joe was facing a marker board. On it the word QUANTUM was written. In the letter U (after the letter Q) was a world. He remembers thinking in the dream that it was odd for the globe to be made inside the U. The more natural place would have been for it to be inside the Q. But to read it thus, "U world", the interpretation became clear: "Your world".

"After waking, the words "Quantum Leap" immediately came into his mind. When he told Shirley the dream she said "Quantum Leap" was what came to her mind as well.

"After researching the phrase a little bit we found that it means:
an abrupt change
sudden increase
dramatic advance

"A Quantum Leap is a powerful thing by the sound of the definition. Concerning the area of "abrupt change"-- we have certainly been going through that since mid-March. This transition we have been in has had its tough moments -- some very abrupt sudden surprises along the way (some good -- some disheartening, even dumbfounding). We are ready to move into the 2nd and even the 3rd parts of this definition. We believe, through the dream, Holy Spirit is confirming other prophetic words we have received concerning sudden increase and dramatic advance. We have been praying often since the dream that it would come to pass in the fullness of time -- not in ours but in His time."

So, here we are at The Gateway Church anticipating the first meeting tonight at 7 P.M. Joann Macfatter is leading the worship times as well as speaking a couple of times. Ray Hughes and David Van Koevering are the other speakers.

We'll write more later.

On the Road

By the time we got everything packed into the van, and stopped at a couple of stores for last minute things, it was 1:15 P.M. when we left Red Bluff. Heading north on I-5 we drove through some beautiful country. One of the most majestic views was when we saw Mt. Shasta from the base. Wow! A majestic God-mountain! We could not even see the top due to cloud cover, but the base was massive. God, the creator of all, included Mt. Shasta does awesome work!

Joel made a "tent" in the back of the van and had a great time as we drove through Oregon in the rain. About 11:15 P.M. we stopped for the night in The Dalles.

We're looking forward to tomorrow with great anticipation. We'll write more then.

For His Glory,

URGENT PRAYER REQUESTED FROM SOUTH DAKOTAN--PRAY ABORTION IS BANNED

Let's stand with South Dakotan's to BAN ABORTION IN THIS NOVEMBER 7th ELECTIONS in their state.

My name is Amy Hofer, and I am a native South Dakotan working closely with the Bound4life, www.bound4life.com team, in Sioux Falls, SD.

We are fighting to uphold the total ban on abortion that this courageous state has initiated. This ban is coming to a vote on November 7.

The following is a plea for Dr. Patti Giebink's commercials on www.voteyesforlife.com. Our team had an opportunity to stop by and talk to Patti and pray with her last Friday, and many have entered into Esther fasting for Patti--that she would be protected and that she would rise up to do whatever the Lord would have her do further on this issue. You can go to the website to view the four TV commercials Patti Giebink has made; they are amazing!

Recently, South Dakota's last abortionist, Patti Giebink, went public on her stand for life. Dr. Patti Giebink was an abortionist at the Sioux Falls Planned Parenthood, and took over when another doctor was retiring. Now a Christian, Patti frequently serves on the mission field, and is working as an OB-GYN in a small South Dakota town. Since Patti was "separated" from Planned Parenthood, no other South Dakota physician will perform abortions there, and they import abortionists from Minnesota to the clinic in Sioux Falls, SD.

Patti has "stuck her neck out" by making a series of commercials against abortion. These are POWERFUL and again, can be viewed at www.voteyesforlife.com. Unfortunately, that is the only place that all of them can be viewed because the finances are not there for them to be broadcast.

At this time, only the first commercial is running. Commercial number four takes on the "rape and incest" deception, and does so logically and powerfully. Air time still has to be purchased and scheduled, and time is running so short. We know the enemy of our souls will do everything in his power to keep those commercials from running.

PRAY FOR SOUTH DAKOTA

PLEASE Pray through on this issue and see what the Lord would have you do. Support South Dakota however you can; we covet your prayers.

Please pray that the people of South Dakota will open their hearts and their pocketbooks. "My Back Was Healed Last Night"

by Joe Cuda

Just a quick PRAISE REPORT for the healing power of Jesus Christ! Two days ago I was reaching to grab a box that was up high and it felt like I pulled a muscle (or something) on my right-side back ribs. This has happened to me a number of times over the past several years. It is very painful and usually takes several weeks to fully heal. However, this time it would be different!

It was hard to find a position, as I slept that night, where it did not hurt. Needless to say, I didn't get much sleep.

The next day was Sunday. We attended the Bethel Church in Redding that evening. The entire service was going to be focused on healing. At one point during the Praise and Worship time we were encouraged to dance. I enthusiastically joined in.

The service continued with words of knowledge being given about different infirmities God was going to heal. After we prayed for the maladies that were "called out", Bill Johnson said, "Go ahead and check yourselves and do something you couldn't do before".

Even though my back pain had not been "called out", I started moving around -- gingerly at first. To my surprise, my back no longer hurt! I moved into positions that were very painful before the worship time, but now I could not feel any pain. I tried my best to find a painful position, but there was none! It was then I realized I must have been healed during the dancing time earlier. Thank You Jesus!

There were 122 healings reported that night, ranging from migrain headaches, to arches being created in a man's formerly "flat"feet, along with several other feet/toe problems being healed, to deaf ears being opened, and a spine being properly aligned, just to name a few.

The miraculous healing touch of the Master's Hand on my back that night was wonderful. I slept unhindered by pain and have had none since. Truly He is a mighty God and I thank Him with all that is within me. Bless His Holy name!

VISION OF THE CHILDREN--THE GATES OF HELL WILL NOT PREVAIL

by Catherine Brown

INTRODUCTION TO THE VISION

I received this vision in 1998, but I have kept it away from the public domain until now. It is only after reading Steve Shultz' earnest and heartfelt cry to pray for our children that I feel this word may now be released globally. (To view the recent word by Steve published on The Elijah List, click (here).

It contains disturbing and graphic imagery, which depicts the reality of the enemy's horrific and relentless onslaught on our children and young people. I personally experienced deep revulsion at the evil it portrayed. In great distress of spirit, I prayerfully sought the Lord.

Since receiving the vision, the Lord has burdened me to intercede for the children of the nations, and I believe He will quicken many others to do likewise. With one voice we will call out unceasingly to the Throne of Grace, reclaiming the inheritance that has been stolen from the church--namely our children and young people. They are an essential part of the Body of Christ and we must raise our shields of faith around them.

With the unfolding horror of yet another attack that has been carried out on innocent Amish children in a school in the Pennsylvania, USA, it is appropriate that we unite our hearts in unity with Christ and each other, and pray until its power and victory breakthrough on a worldwide scale. May Jesus grant us grace and power for the days that lie ahead. To God be the glory.

THE RIVERBANK

The scene depicted demons of varying sizes and authority gathering on an enormous riverbank. They held fishing rods and nets, and were making preparations for a battle. In the distance I heard sounds of muffled warfare. Surrounding the river was a dense forest, where I discerned demons were hiding. The hordes of hell began to cast their rods and nets into the river, which was full of children.

THE ASSIGNMENT: TO DESTROY THE FIRST BORN AND TO KILL FAMILIES

I enquired of the Lord as to the nature of this evil assignment and He replied, "They have come to kill the firstborn sons, to destroy righteousness, and to kill families. This is their mission." And the Lord reminded me of how His Righteousness is displayed in families through the dominion mandate (Genesis 1:27-28). He reminded me that Righteousness is a never-failing stream, and that His sons are to be like oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of His splendor.

The scenes that followed, made me feel violently sick, and I wept asking the Lord to enlarge my capacity to endure as I clung to Him throughout the revelation. Some demons hooked little ones from the river, and beat these tiny infants by holding them by the ankles and battering their heads on the ground. I could not bear to watch, but the Spirit showed me these little ones ascending to incredible Glory--they were part of the number of martyrs.

The Lord held me tightly as more of the scene unfolded. Only a small number were martyred, but countless more were hooked from the water to be tormented and then thrown back in. Some were tortured while they were still in the river. Others lay inert and lifeless on the riverbanks.

I noted none of the devils were able to enter the river, but could only cast their rods and nets into the water from the riverbank. Vultures flew overhead, but they were not permitted to land on the river either. As I continued to pray, the Holy Spirit began to reveal the names of the demons.

THE HOLY SPIRIT REVEALS THE ENEMY

Demons of Death and Melancholy threw nets of darkness over the river, which hung like an icy fog over the water. Death attempted to freeze the waters, and I noticed some of the smaller children were extremely cold. These little ones wore only helmets of salvation (no other armor) and desperately needed the warmth of the fellowship of the Holy Spirit.

Smaller demons of Spite and Jealousy, threw swords to some of the children who paddled in the shallower waters, encouraging them to fight each other, to draw their swords against their brothers and sisters. These demons had been sent to splinter relationships within families, particularly between siblings.

I watched Bitterness pour a filthy sludge into the river to choke the children. Rage was also present, stirring up the waters, and the turbulence within the river was causing children to lose balance, topple over, and be swept away on the current.

Perversity and Pornography threw filth and every kind of abominable image at the children, and as a direct result, a number of the children became blind and stumbled around in the waters in great fear.

Beneath my feet I discerned a hideous evil presence--a demon named Murder slunk along on its belly, a shifting black shadow corrupting the earth it moved on. While some demons attempted to ensnare children who were already in the river, others joined ranks and formed a wall, laying traps along the pathway to the river.

I looked up from the river and focused my attention on the forest, where demons were attempting to remain undetected. I asked the Lord for their names. Immediately, eyes appeared in the woods, and the Lord named Insolence and Rebellion--both of whom were fairly small demons, trying unsuccessfully to hide behind a tree. Nonetheless, the Lord reminded me that these two lesser demons could wreak much havoc until they were exposed and dealt with by Him.

My attention returned to the river, where in desperation, I watched Obscenity muzzle children on the riverbanks, and then throw them back in, and their speech reduced to an almost silent muffle. I watched in agony of spirit, as a demon of Barrenness took a needle and sewed the mouths of the children shut making them mute.

A spirit of Lies shouted so loudly in some of the children's ears, that they became deaf and were unable to hear the voice of God. Still other ghouls battered the feet of the children, disabling some, and rendering others totally unable to walk and share the Gospel. Other demons dressed the children in clown outfits, spinning them round and ridiculing them. These poor children wore no Heavenly armor at all.

IN BROKENNESS, CALL FOR THE WIND AND THE FIRE OF GOD

My spirit experienced such devastation and desolation at the scene set before me, and in absolute bewilderment, I cried out to the Lord and asked Him to intervene. He replied:

"Call forth streams of Righteousness and mobilize the troops. Call for the sons of Righteousness. Pray for your sons and your daughters, call for many spiritual fathers and mothers. Call for My Wind and My Fire to cleanse the river and to purge this evil from the banks of the river."

THE PRAYERS OF UNITY AND REPENTANCE BEGIN

A multitude of parents began to gather on the riverbanks, many of whom wept uncontrollably as they searched for their lost children. The Lord permitted me to identify with their pain, and I was overcome and broken by the depth of it. I looked to the Lord and He said, "Child, this is only a fragment of the pain I feel over My children."

The adults reached out to one another, and holding hands tightly, they began to pray. Some fell to their faces and pounded the ground with their fists, their hearts full of repentance. During this time of intercession, the Lord revealed to the parents that some of them had given their children inheritances from Egypt (enslavement through idols).

Struck by conviction, they confessed their sin and received the Lord's healing and restoration. As men and women cried out to God in brokenness, angels were dispatched to the scene. An angel (unseen to the parents) approached each child and tenderly placed a mark on its foreheads--the mark of the living Lord. Immediately, the demons began to shrink back.

THE LIGHT OF CHRIST DEFEATS THE DARKNESS

The Holy Spirit came in power, and a mighty battle ensued. Men and women, who had previously been incapable of fighting, now took up their places in the Lord's army and began to fight. Angels and parents fought alongside one another to defeat the demons, some involved in hand-to-hand combat. The warfare was intense and matched the fervent desire to see the children set free from bondage. Overhead, vultures were knocked down by the incredible Light of the Lord's presence.

The people called for the Wind of God and His Fire. Suddenly, the Lord appeared riding on a chariot of clouds. He was resplendent in Glory and swathed in Righteousness. His eyes blazed with fire and from His mouth came a double-edged sword with which to avenge His children. With a mighty sweep of His hand, He smote the riverbank, and the earth shook and multitudes of demons were swallowed up in the tremors, as the Holy Spirit swept them completely away. The Lord stretched out His hand to the forest, which instantly was set alight by the cleansing fire of His purity and Holiness. Every demonic being was destroyed in the winnowing flames. The forest had been a place of many idols, but repentance had released the Lord's awesome redemption for the children.

RESTORATION FOR FAMILIES

With the battle over, I watched as parents were reunited with their children. Little ones that had once lain lifeless and inert on the riverbanks, now received the Breath of God. The Lord came to each one and they were immediately healed and restored. Families could be seen rising out of hopelessness, each wearing a beautiful breastplate of the Righteousness of Christ, fully clad in the Lord's armor with their crowns of salvation shining gloriously.

I glanced at the river as it flowed in full majestic force, its waters now crystal clear. Families danced and sparkled and resonated with a beautiful song "Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, who is, who was and who is yet to come." All around the atmosphere pervaded with the Holiness, Peace, and Righteousness of Jesus Christ the Messiah. The enemy was defeated and peace restored.

SUMMARY--WE MUST WAKE UP AND PRAY FOR OUR CHILDREN

The Lord is calling the church to wake up to the ferocious and relentless assault on His little ones. We must respond with all haste, and build a wall of holy protective fire around our children and young people through fervent and Holy Spirit inspired intercession.

This vision is not intended to honor evil by highlighting it, rather its purpose is to honor Christ by speaking the Light of His presence into the darkness, acknowledging that we enter spiritual battle from a point of victory, through the eternally redemptive Blood of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The Lord wants to raise up an army of children and young people to go forth in His awesome Love and Power in these end times.

We must pray for them. The enemy is desperate to destroy them but his plans will not prevail--the Battle is the Lord's!

All Hail the Lamb, who reigns on High, His praise shall be our battle cry!

"I will cause your hordes to fall by the swords of mighty men--the most ruthless of all nations. They will shatter the pride of Egypt, and all her hordes will be overthrown. Then I will let her water settle and make her streams flow like oil declares the Sovereign Lord" Ezekiel 32: 12, 14.

More and More GREAT QUOTES

"For I am verily persuaded the generality of preachers talk of an

"Go for souls, and go for the worst!" --William Booth

"The noise was like the roar of Niagara. The vast sea of human

against another. ...I stepped up on a log where I could have a
better view of the surging sea of humanity. The scene that then
presented itself to my mind was indescribable. At one time I saw
at least five hundred swept down in a moment as if a battery of a

and family feuds were healed and a new unity of purpose was felt
across denominational divides." -- The Welsh Revival of 1904.

"Can any deny that in the modern church setup the main cause of
anxiety is money? Yet that which tries the modern churches the
most, troubled the New Testament Church the least. Our accent is
on paying; theirs was on praying. When we have paid, the place is
taken; when they had prayed, the place was shaken!" --Leonard Ravenhill

"If Christians were not such cowards, and absolutely disobedient
to this plain command of God ('Thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy

they would be speedily converted to God." --Charles Finney.

A NEW SOUND IS BEING RELEASED TODAY--HE WHO HAS EARS TO HEAR, LET HIM HEAR

By JoAnn McFatter

joann mcfatter

It Takes God to Hear God

Sound is a profound thing when understood and utilized in its fullness. Mankind has barely begun to realize the effect it has on our body, mind, and spirit. During the days of the harvest, we must grasp the implications of sound relative to the triune nature of man.

The Scripture records the Lord oftentimes saying, "He who has ears to hear, let him hear." This clearly implies that we can have ears, yet do not hear. (Matthew 11:15, 13:9, 13:43, Mark 4:9, 4:23, Luke 8:8, 14:35.) It's a statement made to highlight a point, much like, "Truly, truly I say to you."

That particular line of thought is taken even further in Romans 11:8 saying, "just as it is written, 'God has given them a spirit of stupor, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear, to this very day.'"

During days of apostasy, God at times even closes our ears to what is being said. Yikes! It needs to be a conscious prayer of ours that He would open our ears to what the Spirit is saying in this hour. Just like it takes God to love God, it takes God to hear God. We would be wise to ask Him to do that in us.

The Act of Hearing

It is reported that our own minds can close our ears to certain sound frequencies. If fact, if you have been exposed to someone who constantly says things to you that you don't want to hear, things that berate you, your ear will stop itself from ingesting, so to speak, the frequency levels of that person's voice. It could affect your hearing the rest of your life. Fortunately, they are now coming up with treatment to repair the damage. It's just something a person does to survive the sound that is causing death in them. That is why it is so important what we speak over our children.

There are numerous studies being conducted today involving sound and vibration, and it's affect on us. Organs can be affected positively or negatively by sound and yes, by even music. The Spirit has been showing me some very interesting things about our hearing that we need to be aware of. Many times, Paul warned the saints about what they listened to that would lead them astray. We are approaching the day that "Even the very elect would be fooled" if God did not intervene.

Now, I'm not trying to scare you, but I feel like we need to be educated in some of these things to make the most of what God gave us to use. We often hear that "the new sound" or "the sound of Heaven" is about to be released. What if we don't have ears to hear it? In the last article, I referenced a vision that I had of the people working in the field and a few of them heard a sound that the rest did not. (Click here to view JoAnn's last article published on The Elijah List.)

Actually, our ear is much more than something we hear with. When a fetus is in the womb, the ear is the first sensory organ to be fully developed and there is a reason for that. When sound enters the ear, it goes through an amazing technical process that actually turns it into electrical impulses which charge the brain.

In a fetus, this charge actually causes the brain to grow as early as 4 ½ months. There is a muscle that is activated at this point inside the ear that never rests until you die. This is the only muscle in the entire body that this is true of. We literally "absorb" sound non-stop until the day we die.

The Mechanics of Hearing

There is a cranial nerve attached to both sides of the eardrum that extends throughout the body and is attached to every organ except the spleen. To some extent, what we hear with our ears affects every organ in our body. We not only hear by sound being transferred through the air, but also through our skin and bones. Our entire body takes in sound in one way or another.

Jeremiah declared, "His word was in my heart like a burning fire shut up in my bones. I was weary of holding it back and I could not" Jeremiah 20:9.

There is a spiritual and natural implication to this verse. The sound of God's word had entered his bones and he was compelled to let it out. Have you ever felt like that? I certainly have--especially during time of intense worship. This truth can give us even greater understanding of Ezekiel's vision of the dry bones. He was told to, "Prophecy to these bones and say to them, 'O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord!'" Ezekiel 37:4

He is commanding the bones to hear a sound--a particular sound that they might live. Is that "the sound" that is being released today? A sound that causes spiritually dry bones to come together and produce life!

It is interesting that the bones are dry, because water is one of the most effective conductors of sound. I remember "communicating" with my first son while he was in my womb, by lying in the bath tub full of water. I would knock on one side of the tub and he would shift to that side of my belly. Then I would knock on the other side of the tub and he would move to that side. It was a game I played with him--a way of interacting with him. Because the child is in a sack of water in the womb, the water outside the womb was most effective.

Natural and Spiritual

As it is in the natural, so it is in the spirit. The words we listen to and the sounds we allow to wash over us, affect us in diverse ways. Jeremiah 6:10 says, "indeed their ear is uncircumcised and they cannot heed." If we do not have God's Spirit flourishing in us, our ears remain uncircumcised; Jeremiah says they CANNOT heed. It's not that we just choose not to, it's just not possible.

We can have uncircumcised hearts as well as ears. We must learn to hear what the Spirit is saying in this hour, particularly in a day when we are given the warning that even the very elect would be fooled apart from the Lord's intervention.

Lord, cause our hearts and ears to be circumcised that we may hear with understanding, Your sounds!

What is Our Sound?

Sound is measured by vibratory frequencies. Science has discovered that we all vibrate at a certain frequency. They are presently determining how to take the frequency of an individual, and convert it to audible sound. There is actually music that each of us carries within our being at sound frequencies that are inaudible to the natural ear, but are sensed by those around us--even by creation itself.

Do we resonate with His Truth? Do we echo the sound of the Spirit? Perhaps, the more of Him that resonates in us causes us to "sound" just like Him and become one with Him.

These are all things to ponder as we attempt to hear the sound that is being released today in this "divine exchange" between Heaven and earth. This realization is only going to increase...

"He who has ears to hear, let him hear what the Spirit is saying."

EMERGENCY PRAYER FOR SUPREME COURT FROM LOU ENGLE

Oct 05, 2006

From Lou Engle

Emergency Prayer for Supreme Court -- next 24 hours
PLEASE FORWARD THIS EMAIL ON TO OTHER INTERCESSORS!

I am here in Washington, DC where 70 to 100 intercessors have been standing 24 hours a day before the Supreme Court since Monday (Yom Kippur).

**The next 24 hours are CRITICAL for the Supreme Court!**

THIS IS THE LAST CHANCE FOR THIS COURT TO DECIDE!

They must decide by tomorrow whether or not they will hear Doe v. Bolton, the companion case to Roe v. Wade that made abortion on demand legal and is a cornerstone of legalized abortion.

If they decide not to hear this case, it cannot be revisited for 8 more years!

Two years ago, they refused to hear Roe. It was "denied without comment." We can't let this happen again!

To read more about this case, go to http://www.Bound4life.com/doe The lawyer on this case, Alan Parker from the Justice Foundation, has specifically asked us to pray for them.

They will be presenting over 5,300 pages of eviden ce and sworn testimony from 1,000 women hurt by abortion as well as sworn testimony by abortion facility workers, scientific and medical experts, and over 300 citations from scientific and medical articles. The motion also asks that Roe v. Wade be reversed and is accompanied by the affidavit of Norma McCorvey, who was Jane Roe of Roe v. Wade.

Two nights ago, a prayer activist at JHOP had a very clear dream that indicated to us that Justice Scalia was going to be key in the decision of whether or not to hear this case. Please pray fervently for this man as well as for the three other justices who need to concur with him in order for this case to be heard.

We feel that God is giving us the opportunity to agree with His heart and shift this Court to righteousness and justice.

These next few hours are make-or-break for this critically important case.

For LIFE,

Lou

PLEASE FORWARD THIS EMAIL ON TO EVERY OTHER INTERCESSOR YOU KNOW!

your lifestyle.”

“Our seminaries today are turning out dead men.”

“How can you pull down strongholds of Satan if you don’t even
have the strength to turn off your TV?”

“Everyone recognizes that Stephen was Spirit-filled when he was
performing wonders. Yet, he was just as Spirit-filled when he was
being stoned to death.”

“If a Christian is not having tribulation in the world, there’s
something wrong!”

“Many pastors criticize me for taking the Gospel so seriously. But
do they really think that on Judgment Day, Christ will chastise me,
saying, ‘Leonard, you took Me too seriously’?”

“If Jesus had preached the same message that ministers preach
today, He would never have been crucified.” -- Leonard Ravenhill.

"The fundamental difference between many of us and the rich
young ruler is this: He believed what Jesus said was required of
him to inherit eternal life and walked away sadly, while we don't
believe what Jesus said was required of us to inherit life and walk
away rejoicing in our self deception." -- Brother David.

"Are you saying that there is a price to pay to follow Jesus?
I can't just believe the right things? I have to actually do something
that may encroach upon my comfort zone?
Now I remember! I am to pick up my cross daily if I want to be His
disciple." -- Dennis Curtis

"If you're having trouble trying to figure out if you're lukewarm, then
let me help you out: If you're not on fire for God in this life, then
you'll be on fire in hell during the next!" -- Unknown.

Jesse Morrell comments:
These are two Ravenhill quotes that I think have hit me harder then
anything else he has ever said:

“Finney never made an altar call within the first twenty eight nights
of preaching. Most of our evangelists don’t have twenty eight
sermons. Twenty eight nights in a row and he never made an altar
call. He didn’t preach the love of God. He didn’t say “you’re a
sinner, God loves you.” He said “God is angry with the wicked
every day” (Ps 7:11) which the Word of God says. He didn’t
preach grace, he preached Law. He didn’t preach love, he
preached judgment. He didn’t preach heaven, he preached hell. He
didn’t say “you’re a wonderful person” he said “you’re a rebel”. But
he got results. 64% of D. L. Moody's converts backslid, 72% of
the converts Finney got stood because he knew how to attack the
human will, not just the emotions.” -- Leonard Ravenhill.

“I don’t believe there is a man on the whole TV that preaches
salvation. They preach forgiveness. Forgiveness is not salvation.
They point out “there’s a man in bed with some other man's wife in
a Motel". “Oh you know the Lord loves you just as you are.” Well
then why get changed? Commit adultery as much as you like. He
still loves you. Be a cheat, be a liar, be a thief, and be a failure.
He still loves you. But there’s a scripture. Isn’t it the Psalms 7….
where it says “God is angry with the wicked every day.” I heard
somebody quote today “God loves you but hates your sin” that’s
bunken. God hates you for committing the sin. Is God going to
take your sins and judge them at the Judgment and leave you
alone?” -- Leonard Ravenhill.

Just in Case There is a God
Are You a Bettin' Man (or Woman)?
- By Joe & Shirley Cuda

Is there really a God? Does God exist? Is there a supreme being who made everything in the universe to work like it does or was everything just "created" by chance? These are age old questions that the great thinkers of the world have been discussing for hundreds and thousands of years.

A pastor I know recently climbed a mountain with a few friends to help raise funds for a building project at his church. This was no ordinary mountain he was attempting to climb. It was over 9,000 feet high. While making the climb he met a man on the trail. They talked for a little bit and ended up climbing together. While talking during the ascent, the man shared that he did not believe there was a God.

Eventually the group reached the summit together. As they were beginning the descent the man asked the pastor if he could continue on with them down the mountain. He mentioned he had been enjoying the God-talk on the way up the mountain and would like to listen some more on the way down. But he added that they should not expect him to change his views on God's exsistence.

When they reached the bottom and they were saying their goodbys, the man said he would like to send a $100 donation for the new church building. The pastor said that would be nice if he was so inclined. They parted having experienced a wonderful trip on a majestic mountain together. Everybody drove back to their homes and the climbing day was over.

A few weeks later, the pastor received a letter from the man. Instead of a check for $100 it was for $200. Written on a piece of paper included in the envelope with the check was... "Just in case there is a God!"

This statement shows that this man has some doubts - he's not totally satisfied with his "belief" system. He is saying, "Would God show me favor if I was wrong about thinking He doesn't exist? Would He accept my $200 as my 'Just in case'? If I had spent my whole life believing He didn't exist, would He still offer me Heaven?"

The question comes to us again and again - what if there is a God? What if...? What if...?

It is written, "Without faith it is impossible to please God". Will your $200, $1000 or even your $1,000,000 suffice as a "Just in case" in the eyes of God? Are you willing to take a chance or place a bet on being right about God not existing?

I believe in God's existence, but what if I'm wrong? My body will go back to dust and that will be the end. I will have followed the teachings of Jesus Christ as best I could and lived according to His principles and hopfully have made a difference in my world.

You believe God does not exist, but what if you're wrong? One day you will stand before the God you did not believe in and He will judge you according to your faith in Him. If you did not believe Jesus is the son of God and confess it with your mouth, there is a place prepared for you. According to the Bible it is not Heaven, and it will last for eternity.

In the end I would have to ask, "Are you a bettin' man (or woman)?" Because if you're wrong, all the "just in cases" in the world won't matter to a Holy God who is" just in all His ways".

Just in case there is a God, won't you believe today? It could make the difference in where you spend eternity.

The
First
Three
Months

The Move
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11

After weeks of planning and preparation for our move from NY to CA we were on the road by Tuesday, May 9th. This was a week later than we had planned to leave but it gave us extra time to say goodbye to some friends that stopped by the house that week to help, visit, feed, and bless us. We realized, after a while, this was God's plan to strengthen our relationships with friends whom we had served with in His Kingdom for the past 16 years at TLC, so we rested in that fact and knew it was His timing and not ours.

Saying Goodby
"Recalling your tears, I long to see you, so that I may be filled with joy." 2 Timothy 1:4

Goodbys are usually not easy, so it was with this move. Here are a few parting photos from the day we left. We wish we had photos of our goodbys to and from all our friends, but they were not all captured on camera. (see the May 2006 blog to see all the names of those who helped us to accomplish this move).

The Cross-Country Drive
"The LORD your God himself will cross over ahead of you." Deuteronomy 31:3

If you've ever moved before, you understand the dynamics of why moving can sometimes be stressful. So our original plan was to take a "leisurely" 8 day drive to California. That would mean about 400 miles or so of driving a day. We could stop in the evenings to rest up for the next day's drive. As it turned out we had only 4 days to drive there so we could arrive before Mother's Day. It was far from a leisurely drive!

In the first 150 miles of the trip, while at a rest stop on I-86, "Eagle-eye Joel" noticed (praise God) the strap that should be holding the passenger's side front wheel of the van on the trailer was OFF the wheel. That was one of 2 straps that held the van on the trailer. We actually saw the wheel lift several inches off the trailer at right-hand turns as we stopped to take care of it. WHEW! Thank God there was no damage! We strapped it back down and checked on it often. It came off 2 more times in the next 100 miles, but after that it remained strapped until we arrived at our destination. The last prayer that was prayed before we left Elmira, was Jesse asking God to assign double-angels to our wheels. We know God answered that prayer and those angels kept that wheel in place.

Most of the trip we pulled off at truck stops and would rest in the cab of our truck. The 2nd day we drove through the night, only stopping for a quick 15 or 20 minute sleep when neccesary. By the end of the 3rd day, after passing through the Great Salt Lake Desert and Salt Flats area, we decided it was time for a hotel room. Joel loves to swim so we found one with a pool on the Utah/Nevada border. After 2 days of straight driving it was a great time of refreshing. This was much needed before attacking the drive the next day through the Nevada desert.

In the morning we left feeling refreshed, then drove all day and arrived in Red Bluff, CA. after midnight. We were quite exhausted but (by God's grace) we arrived in time for Mother's Day.

Mother's Day

"Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the LORD your God is giving you." Exodus 20:12

Our nephew Eddie called and said he and 3 others from his church would be available at 7 A.M. to help us unload at our storage place. He said, "In California, when it is over 100 degrees, we try to do things early before the heat of the day". We never dreamed we would find anybody (or even ask anybody) to unload on Mother's Day, but God spoke to these 4 guys and they obeyed. We thank them and their wives for their sacrifice.

By 9:30 A.M. most every thing was off the truck and we released them to get ready for church. We continued packing and arranging and fitting things in the storage unit until 1:30 P.M. The last 2 hours were so incredibly hot that we were close to heat exhaustion, but God saw us through -- we finished! We thanked Him for the strength to finish in the 105 degree weather (the humidty was higher than usual as well which made it even more of a drain).

We went to Dad & Mom's house and recovered with a shower and a brief nap before the Mother's Day family picnic began (see photos below).

The Flowers
"Flowers appear on the earth; the season of singing has come, the cooing of doves is heard in our land." Song of Solomon 2:12

Z. A. and Olive are Shirley's parents. Olive is currently on dialysis 3 times a week and both Olive and Z. A. have had major heart surgery. It has been amazing to see the hand of God raise them up again and again over the past decade. In the last couple of years they have become a little frail and need some extra care.

Dawn, Shirley's sister, has been primarily doing what needs to be done to help. She quit her job and is basically their fulltime care provider. Part of the reason God brought us here was to help Dawn care for them and also so Shirley could spend some quality time with them. We have all been doing whatever we can to take some of the responsiblity off Dawn. It is amazing that Dawn has been able to do all she has been doing.

Joel has taken on the lawn care. He mows with a riding lawn mower and a push mower, then finishes off with a weedeater.

He also takes care of the garbage, washes the dishes sometimes, and sets the table before meals. He has even cooked breakfast a few times for everyone. Plus he is a major "runner" for all of us. He is just an all around fantastic son and grandson!

Joel came up with a plan to build a go-cart from scrap parts around here. He asked grandpa for help and advice. So grandpa sits in a chair where Joel is working and explains how the engine works, how to clean it up and various other aspects of the building process. It is a joy to see them working together on this project.

Shirley has been helping in every way she can with various household duties and taking her mom to dyalisis (which is an 8 hour day - 3 times a week). Shirley and Dawn have been sharing in the dialysis trip responsibility. Also, Olive has planted flowers eacn spring for most of her life, so she bought numerous annuals to add to the yard. Though she valiently tried to do some of the actual planting, she was unable, so Shirl and Dawn worked hard in the planting and now in the watering & upkeep. It takes diligent maintenance, but the other day I heard Shirl say, "I would rather give my mom flowers that she can enjoy now instead of waiting until she is gone". (Shirl actually enjoys getting up at the crack of dawn - to beat the heat - to water all the flowers, rose bushes, and fruit trees.)

Joe has been filling in the gaps -- helping where needed. He has been cooking most of the meals and helping with the dishes. Doing a lot of errands with "Grandpa" when needed and even some "handy-man" repairs (not Joe's forte) along with some grocery shopping.

All four of us have been doing this labor of love to the best of our abilities. Not only are we helping mom and dad now, but we are also sowing into our future. We have confidence God will honor this and be faithful to His servants.

The Heat

"For the LORD God is a sun and shield... " Psalm 84:11

Although the heat has been very "real", it has not been unbearable. As a matter of fact, it is true that

the lack of humidity really helps on those 105 degree days. We have learned that shade is a very valued commodity here and we have a new appreciation for the "Cloud by Day" for the Hebrew children.

Due to the heat (119 degrees on one day in July) swimming has become our main form of exercising since arriving. Thank God Linda, Shirley's sister, has a beautiful pool that she lets us use anytime. Joel would be in it 24 hours a day if he was allowed. Of course we can't do that but he certainly enjoys every opportunity he has to be in the pool.

The Double Promise

"This is the sign of the covenant I have established between me and all life on the earth." Genesis 9:17

While driving one day in May we were stricken with a wonderful reminder of God's covenant with us. As we looked to the left we saw the stunning sight of a rainbow. As we gazed more at it we discovered there were actually 2 rainbows -- a double rainbow!

Two is symbolic of a witness/confirmation (in the mouths of 2 or 3 witnesses shall a thing be done).

A rainbow is a reminder of God's covenant promise -- God's promise after destruction. God spoke to us through it and said, "I'm saying to you and I'm saying it AGAIN!" A double promise that the words that God has spoken over us would come to pass -- new life -- new growth -- new fruit -- double fruit! It was very encouraging.

As we continued driving we followed the rainbow with our eyes. Before long we saw something we've never seen before -- we actually saw the end of the rainbow. It was exciting, but guess what? There was no "pot of gold", just the brown ground. However, there was gold in knowing that the Holy Spirit had spoken plainly to us through the double rainbow -- we could go to the bank with this gold! This gold was full of eternity, the sound of heaven, and a double promise from a faithful God... praise His name, Jesus!

Note: The photo was taken with our cell phone camera. What remains of the 2nd rainbow (by the time we thought to take the photo) is barely visable, but it is there. If you look closely to the left of the bright rainbow and the green tree you will see it. Also, you are looking at the actual end where it meets the ground.

The UHN Prayerwalks/Drives

"I will give you every place where you set your foot..." Joshua 1:3

In mid-May we were alerted to a land purchase that was being made by a group called "Universal Human Nation". We found out this site was only about 1/2 a mile from where we are currently staying. As we researched the group's website to find out more about them, we realized this was serious. So we sent an "Urgent Prayer Request" (see our blog dated May 23, 2006) out through our email list and spoke with a couple leaders in the area to see if there were any known united prayer efforts concerning the UHN coming to Red Bluff. There was one man getting the word out to the local churches but as of yet no concerted prayer. We decided to pray ourselves "on-site" and have been continuing to do that for the past 2 months.

In addition to the prayerwalking we are doing, we really felt impressed by the Lord to release praise throughout the property. So sometimes when we go there we open all the doors and windows of our vehicle and crank up our CD player and release the sound of praise as we drive the border. We sing loudly with the CD player such songs as "How Great is Our God", "God of Wonders", and many others. We know God dwells in the praises of His people! Let God Arise!! Let God Arise!!

Another time while interceeding "on-site" we staked
a claim there in the spirit realm. We built some memorials and made declarations concerning the "UHN" and the Kingdoms of our God!

We will continue to obey Holy Spirit in this matter and would ask you to keep the prayer support coming to stop what the enemy would like to bring to this land. May the will of our Lord be done right here in Red Bluff.

The High-Ground

"You who bring good tidings to Zion, go up on a high mountain. You who bring good tidings to Jerusalem, lift up your voice with a shout, lift it up, do not be afraid; say to the towns of Judah, "Here is your God!"" Isaiah 40:9

A short time after we arrived Shirl found some beautiful high-ground where she went early in the mornings for prayer. Before long all 3 of us were up there for our family prayer times. It has a gorgeous view of the valley. The deer like to sleep up on top in the tall grass on the edges. Occasionally there are deer there when we arrive.

It's here that we can awaken the dawn with our praise, petition our heavenly Father, listen for that still small voice, or watch a golden sunset as we offer the Lord an evening sacrifice of worship.

A Building
" With my great power and outstretched arm I made the earth and its people and the animals that are on it, and I give it to anyone I please." Jeremiah 27:5

Dawn, Shirley's sister, told us about a building when we first arrived. We looked at it and God has been drawing us to pray at this building ever since. We could certainly see the possibilities of what it could become for the Kingdom of God. It is a huge 40,000 square foot with 210 parking spaces. The inside could be remodeled "easily" to conform to the needs of the ministry.

While praying there one day in June we saw a plastic shopping bag come floating across the parking lot. We noticed it had something written on it, so we asked Joel to go get it before it blew away. As he held it up from a distance we could see this sentence written in big red letters on the bag, "WHAT'S YOUR GOAL?

We have certainly been weighing that question that we believe was dropped in our hands from the Lord(in red-letter edition):D The building is selling for $3.4 million (we say with a gulp). Is it for us Master?

We can't say that this will be the future home of Love and Fire Worship and Healing Center at this point, but we do know this -- God wants it for His Kingdom work! So we have been praying there from this perspective and as He said in Jeremiah 27:5, "... and I give it to anyone I please." If it is us Lord we know you will provide, no matter what the cost!

The Blowout
"For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways..." Psalm 91:11

It was 105 degrees when we left Red Bluff headed south on I-5. We had about a 6 hour drive ahead of us. Cami & Dion, our niece and her husband, were blessing us with a special weekend at a place called "King's Ranch". We had been looking forward to this trip ever since they had invited us a few weeks before. They had their 8 month old daughter Maleah all strapped in to her car seat.

As we entered the highway we heard a bang on the side of our van. It sounded like we had run over a rock and it hit the side of the van. It wasn't anything unusal and we thought no more about it. At some point, as we were driving, we prayed for a safe trip and asked God to surround us with angels.

About 10 miles down I-5 driving in the left hand lane at the speed of at least 70 mph Shirl asked why the van was shaking so much. Joe was driving and he said that he thought it was just the road and kept moving on. She mentioned again that we should slow down, pull over, and check the van to see if anything was wrong. So Joe began to move over into the right lane and from there he planned on slowing and pulling off the road.

All of a sudden -- BOOOOOM -- we all were very startled -- the passenger rear tire was completely gone! Joe began applying the brakes as we rode on the tire rim. It took quite a while to go from 70 mph to a slow enough speed to pull off. The whole time the brakes were being applied the van miraculously stayed straight. When we finally stopped we thanked God that we all were safe and that the van did not weave or flip. Truly the angels of the Lord were encamping about us. None of us had ever had a blowout like that before.
We called AAA and they said they would put a rush on it. It was so hot and there was no shade where we ended up and after 15 minutes our air conditioner began to put out warmer and warmer air. We turned it off and opened the doors and windows. There was a little bit of a breeze but it was very hot (especially with no shade) and we were concerned for little Maleah. But God got us through, and after about 30 minutes the tow truck pulled up.

The driver got out of the big truck with 6 bottles of ice cold water in his arms, one for each of us. What a welcoming sight to our sweat-dripping brows! Shirl's sister Peggy, drove down, picked up the girls, and took them back to the house to wait where it was cooler. About $45.00 and an hour or so later we were back on I-5 headed to King's Ranch thanking God for His wonderful care.

Note: Photo is of the used tire that was put on in place of our shredded blowout tire.

King's Ranch
"God, your God, is with you every step you take." Joshua 1:1

King's Ranch Ministries is located in Hanford, CA. Due to our late depature (the blowout etc) it was about 2A.M. when we arrived. We were greeted by a very friendly dog and Jamie Profet. Jamie and his wife, Diane, run the multifaceted ministry. They have five houses and some dormatories where people can come and stay, spend time with God, and hear from Him in a very peaceful environment. They also serve 3 meals a day (if you're not fasting).

Jamie showed us to the house we would occupy for the next few days. It was rustic but very nice. We unpacked the van and settled in to get a little bit of sleep before morning.

They have a good sized dining facility with a commercial kitchen where we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast. Connected to the dining room was a room with couches, easy chairs, and a keyboard with a small sound system. Open to the "living room" was a small area decorated with a communion table, a Bible table, and an altar area with the theme of "the Potter". It was carpeted and had several floor pillows. It was very inviting.

These were the rooms for soaking. We could pray, worship with CDs or live music, receive ministry, study the Scriptures, dance, use worship flags, rest, or even sleep. I gave them a copy of our CD "My Heart Burns for You" and they played it a couple times during the weekend.

Javiar and his wife Dianna worked with the Profets. They were very sweet and hard workers. Their love for the Lord was contagious! They helped take care of King's Ranch and also were used to minister to us the Word of the Lord while we were there.

Although the temperature was hot (over 100 degrees each day) it could not match the fire of the Holy Ghost that we encountered during our short time at King's Ranch.

After the weekend was over we left with this confidence in our Spirit... "with God's power whatever He asks us to do it is do-able." It is do-able!" has become our declaration. With God all things are possible! It is do-able!

Just to confirm this, Joe and Joel were stopped at a red light a few days later and crossing over right in front of them was a big tractor-trailer truck with this written across it --" DO + ABLE".

The Nazarene Church

"... He shall be called a Nazarene." Matthew 2:21

Our niece Heidi and her husband Eddie, attend the Nazarene Church in Red Bluff. Heidi sings on the worship team and Eddie works in the sound and video area. Shortly after coming to Red Bluff the co-pastors of the Nazarene Church, Jason and Jesse, called us to set up a meeting.

Their worship team is in the building mode. Currently they do not have a worship leader. In our meeting they told us the vision for the church they are pastoring and that they are in the middle of refocusing the church from a "me" church to a more evangelistic/outreaching church. They are looking for someone to lead the worship team.

We gave them a little of our background and our passion and purpose with Love and Fire Ministries. We mentioned that part of Love and Fire's vision is to work with local church worship teams, somtimes that might mean for extended periods of time depending on what each church needs.

It was a good meeting and they are good Jesus-loving men of God. We all decided we would spend some time over this in prayer and get back with them at a later date.

After a couple weeks we got back together. We decided we can't commit to being the fulltime worship leader there because that would not be where God is leading us with Love and Fire at this time. But we would make ourselves available to help with the worship team and lead worship occasionally as our schedule allowed.

So that is what we have been doing and it is a good relationship developing. Joel has been able to sit in on the drums when their drummer is not able to make it -- so it has been good for him to have a place where he can keep developing his drumming skills.

They also are allowing us to have music lessons at the church. This is a major blessing and we can't thank them or God enough for the use of such a nice facility. (We just got started with lessons a few weeks ago -- we have 3 students so far.)

Bethel Church

"AND GOD said to Jacob, Arise, go up to Bethel and dwell there." Genesis 35:1

We have been drawn to Bethel Church because we believe God has a treasure there He would like to impart to us. It's hard to describe exactly what we are sensing but we are seeking God there until, like Jacob, we leave with the blessing and feel released. Although we haven't felt to "plug-in" at this time, we have been trying to attend services as often as we are able.

The following ministers are some we have heard who have ministered to us in various ways. Pray that we will recieve ALL that God has for us here.

Bill Johnson, Bethel Senior Leader

Bill Johnson is the author of 2 books that have had a profound effect on our lives this past year. They are entitled, "When Heaven Invades Earth" and "The Supernatural Power of a Transformed Mind" (You can purchase them through our bookstore by clicking HERE) . The revelation of the Word and what the "normal Christian" life should be in these 2 books will transform the way you think and live.

His messages since we have been here have been full of revelation that demands to be lived out in our lives. His delivery of the Word is simple but the revelation is immense when the Holy Spirit brings it to light.

The School of Supernatural Worship
Bethel offers this school each summer. People from all over the world attend it. For the school in July they brought in Kevin Prosch and Don and Christine Potter as the special guest ministers. Although we didn't have the finances to be able to attend the school we were able to audit a few sessions.
The Wikipedia (encyclopedia) says, "Kevin Prosch is one of the most influential worship leaders of the last decade. His ministry carries a fresh experience of God's mercy and a new revelation of God's love. Kevin's music is an electric mix of infectious sounds, honest lyrics and profound experience with God that calls people to return to their first love. Kevin's many albums (Even So Come, Kiss the Son, Tumbling Ground to name but a few) have become bestsellers the world over. His songs include His Banner Over Me and Show Your Power. Considered as a pioneer by many, he inspired a "new sound" in worship influencing the likes of Matt Redman, Chris Tomlin and Martin Smith of Delirious?."

Kevin Prosch taught at the school 3 days. We were able to worship with Kevin one night at Bethel. It was a great time of mostly spontaneous worship. The musicianship was superb and was a true display of the glory of God. But more than that was the exposed hearts of the musicians and Kevin to follow after the Holy Spirit, but yet all the while bringing those along who had a desire to follow them to the Throne of Grace.

Don Potter's bio reads: "Don Potter has a heart to teach, model and impart a spirit of excellence and integrity in ministering to and for the Lord through worship. His ability to hear and release the heart of the father for individuals, churches and cities is remarkable. Each prophetic worship experience with him is unique and often "out of the box" because of his commitment to fully follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit in every meeting. Don has been writing songs, recording, and producing music for the past forty years."

We were able to audit 2 sessions with Don Potter (our schedule wouldn't allow for anymore -- unfortunately). In the first session from the moment he plucked his first note the Holy Spirit began to minister to us and it only grew stronger as the worship time went on. By the end of the 2 sessions over 2 days there was definetly a hunger for more that God had to pour out through Don.

He would be teaching for 2 weeks at the School of Supernatural Worship and his wife Christine would be joining him for the second week. She is an intercessor and interceeds while Don worships. We've been told her intercession is quite unique and we were interested in hearing from her, but it was not to be this time.

Cindy Jacobs was at Bethel to minister at the 3 day "Jesus Culture" youth conference and she also spoke at the church on a Saturday evening and Sunday morning in July. We were able to attend these meetings and were greatly blessed by what this woman of God had to say. She is widely recognized as a prophet to the nations, and is the President and Co-Founder of Generals of Intercession, a missionary organization devoted to training in prayer and spiritual warfare.

Cindy spoke in big terms like; "God is jealous for His land, God says 'Take back my mountain!" (meaning Mt. Shasta -- from new-agers worshipping false gods) and speaking of building prayer rooms in place of the buildings new-agers have built; taking nations, prophesying to presidents, as well as prophesying who would be the next president over various nations, changing economies, changing societies, getting rid of Greek influence in our thinking that says there is no supernatural, and so much more. The words she prophesied to Bethel Church were "big" also. Things so large that only God could do them.

She brought Missy, the granddaughter of Gordon Lindsey, with her. Gordon was one of the great healing evangelists from the 40's and 50's and was also the founder of "Christ for the Nations" Bible School. She prayed over the congregation and imparted the gift of healing her grandfather had to the congregation.

The Prayer Garden at Bethel

Shirley has had a vision for a prayer garden in her heart for years -- a place where people could go to get alone and commune with God surrounded by the natural beauty He has created. One day we believe she will see the fulfillment of that dream. In the meantime it is nice that God has given her a place like this one at Bethel that is available.

Bethel Church has done a fine job of capturing the awesomeness of God through the surroundings of their prayer garden. It begins with the view -- stunning! Mt. Shasta and Mt. Lasson can both be seen in the distance. These mountains are 14,000+ and 9,ooo+ feet and speak of the majesty of our heavenly Father. This picture captures a portion of the Prayer House at the top of the hill where the prayer garden is located. The garden has pathways that meander down the hillside, with occasional benches in strategic places.

The photos we took do not really tell the story of how beautiful this place is -- you'll have to come and experience it for yourself sometime. This is a waterfall running down steps from the "Pool of Bethesda" just above (unfortunately out of the picture).

Lion statue overlooking the drive up to the church -- yes, the church is on the HIGH GROUND! (This spot is just below the "Pool " which is just below the Prayer House.)

Chuck Pierce

The Quantum Leap

"For God does speak—now one way, now another— though man may not perceive it. In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls on men as they slumber in their beds..." Job 33:14-15

On June 19, 2006 Joe had a dream. There was not much to the dream but Joe believed it was from God. He shared it with Shirley when he woke up and she felt it was a God-dream also.

In the dream Joe was facing a marker board.

After waking, the words "Quantum Leap" immediatly came into his mind. When he told Shirley the dream she said "Quantum Leap" was what came to her mind as well.

After researching the phrase a little bit we found that it means:

  • an abrupt change
  • sudden increase
  • dramatic advance
A Quantum Leap is a powerful thing by the sound of the definition.

We have been praying often since the dream that it would come to pass in the fullness of time -- not in ours but in His time. Please pray with us when you're reminded.

The Fragrance
"The fragrance of your perfume is intoxicating; your name is perfume poured out." Song of Solomon 1:3

Since early 2003 Joe has been periodically smelling a fragrance that is unlike any other. The first time he smelled the fragrance he asked Shirley and Joel if they too were smelling it and what it was. Both responded in the negative (odd because in the natural they both have keen olfactory function), and went about their business. Several minutes later Joe called Shirl in again to say it was stronger, and can't they smell it? Again, they answered, "No". However, the fragrance increased and a third time Joe called Shirl in. This time she suddenly caught a "whiff"of this intriguing fragrance. We all began to try to track it down, going from room to room and even outdoors--to no avail.

For her it remained about a minute, long enough to log it in her memory, then it disappeared. Neither Joel, nor Shirl has ever smelled it again, though it lingered many days with Joe.

It is the most beautiful fragrance he has ever smelled. After it kept happening for a few days Shirley told Joe, "You should get with the Holy Spirit, perhaps He is trying to get your attention". Once said, that is exactly what he has been doing whenever he smells that fragrance. (We believe the Holy Spirit allowed Shirl to briefly enjoy the fragrance to confirm there truly was indeed a lovely fragrance and Joe was not just imagining it. The Holy Spirit ministers to each of us in different ways.)

The fragrance comes and goes -- sometimes for long periods of time and sometimes short. But every time it appears, Joe tries to make time to commune with Holy Spirit. The longest time lasted for a number of months; the shortest came and went in a matter of seconds.

Sometimes when someone is with Joe and the fragrance appears, he will ask the person if they smell anything. Nobody has responded that they do as of yet -- so we know it is a special reminder for Joe-- "It's communion time, come away with Me."

Joe has been blessed that he is still smelling the fragrance here in California. It is a reminder that there is no fragrance on earth that can compare to this heavenly fragrance of His Presence.

The Coast

Relax, everything's going to be all right; rest, everything's coming together; open your hearts, love is on the way!" Jude 1:1 (The Message)

Red Bluff is in the Sacramento Valley which stays hot most of the summer (we just finished 12 straight days of 100+ degrees, with one day reaching 117). So in mid-July we all decided it was time to get away and relax. Grandpa and Grandma (Shirley's Dad and Mom) decided they would take us to the coast in their motor home to go camping. We camped near Eureka where it was much cooler than Red Bluff. We were able to enjoy about 8 days at the coast. Dad and Mom really blessed us with this refreshing camping trip. She was able to schedule dialysis in Eureka for the duration.

Final Words

"Finally, brothers, good-by. Aim for perfection, listen to my appeal, be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you. 2 Corinthians 13:11

On July 25th we met with the real estate agent to walk through the Blue Shield Building. It would be an ideal ministry building. There is much that could be done with it and it is in "ready to go" condition. It would definetly take God to get us in there -- but we heard some where -- we have a big God -- so we will leave it up to Him!! Pray with us!

We also thank God for the break in the weather - we're in the upper 90's this week.

We miss all the saints and relatives back in New York. You are in our thoughts and prayers often. Please call, write, or email as often as you can and we will do the same concerning you.

For His Glory,
Joe, Shirley & Joel

PS Last week Cami & Dion invited us to go out on the lake with them in their boat. So from about 7 to 9 P.M. we were on the water. Dion took us to a nice spot to swim off the boat. The water temperature was perfect, and exceedingly clear.

After swimming for a while Dion asked Joel if he would like to try knee-boarding. He didn't have to ask him twice. Dion gave Joel some preliminary training then he was off. It was a lot of fun. Here's a few photos...
