I am so glad that the year of "8" not only means a year of "new beginnings", but also that this is a year of "supernatural grace". With lots happening in the Body and many desires to see the Lord move in a new way, we need "GREAT GRACE". Romans 8:28 says, "And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose." (NKJV) Aren't you thankful that God is like that? He can take our limited knowledge and insight and work all of that together for our good and the good of His purposes.
Prophetically, I think understanding God's goodness and His ability to work some hard things out in the midst of our limitations, especially in this next year ahead, is key for us. That's what makes Him God and the Holy Spirit our Comforter, Teacher and the One we can rely upon in these times.
Also, I love how the LORD uses us from different perspectives to get us into the order for the future. Dutch Sheets has written a wonderful, heartfelt cry for the Body this hour. This is one of the best examples of repentance that I have read as we move forward in days ahead. We fully endorse and embrace Dutch Sheets' apology on behalf of us all. Dutch walks the fine line between the Pharisaical order that could hinder the present move of God that is manifesting and the Holiness that is needed for it to continue into the future. He walks it well, without falling off the tightrope into the old controlling structure of law and the present pit of "Charismania anything goes". He is very wise in the way that he calls us to repent but encourages the move of God to keep moving. Please read and pray the points outlined by Dutch and ask Holy Spirit to deal with you accordingly. I have done so.
Lakeland is the first inkling of things to come for the days ahead in the Body of Christ. We are praying for Todd Bentley's acceptance of God's disciplining hand and those that have been set to bring forth his discipline. We are hoping that his gift will be restored and used again in the Body of Christ. I believe he has been used as an example of the evangelistic gift that must purified. We are praying that we, as the Body of Christ, mature and grow through this public experience and also understand the dangers of the public season of ministry we are now in with communications systems such as TV and email being used.
May we be purified as we move forward into the harvest fields that are beginning to whiten. The Spirit of God asked this ministry to start praying for the harvest of souls. This call came to us last September as we entered the "Year of New Beginnings". That is a different form of praying. This type of praying is necessary as we advance into God's full Kingdom expression in days ahead. I am taking teams around the world to decree a changing wineskin for the harvest.
We know that many different individuals and forms of ministries will be used as we enter this new realm. Yes, we must be very discerning and respect those who watch for the Body. The fine line that must be walked is to receive wisdom while not quenching the moving of the Holy Spirit as He works out the salvation of many. We must gain wisdom as we move forward but not quench revelation as it is released.
I feel Dutch Sheets' ministry expresses real wisdom in his personal repentance. The ministry of Glory of Zion must stay on the edge of bringing forth revelation and demonstration for days ahead. This is why Dutch Sheets has been a real blessing to me personally as we have walked together through the years. I like the "free spirits" and he walks with great caution and wisdom.
Prophetically, I believe the Lord opened the next door of healing evangelism in April, and we are learning of the many dangers that await this opportunity (I Cor. 16:9). Lord, we ask for mercy as we enter this new realm.

Because of the length of Dutch's response, you can go to our homepage to read it. Just look for the "Dutch Sheets: Personal Repentance" link.
