Freedom: Nancy Carmichael

This is from a friend of ours -- Read it with the understanding of True Freedom -- If you have it you know it because you know Jesus as friend --- If you don't have it, you can... Simply receive Jesus (Romans 10:9). Thanks Nancy for sharing your writing and your heart with all of us!

-------------------------------------------------------

"WHOM THE SON SETS FREE IS FREE INDEED."
John 8:36

Unhindered. Unbound.
No fear. No restraints.
No self consciousness.
No self-centeredness.
No judgment. No guilt. No shame.
No regret. No doubt. No pride.
Nothing to hold us down. No-one to keep us back.
Nothing to separate us from God's love.

Everything we've ever dared to dream.

This is freedom.

This is why Jesus came for us.

The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me,
because the LORD has anointed me
to preach good news to the poor.
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim freedom for the captives
and release from darkness for the prisoners,
to proclaim the year of the LORD's favor
and the day of vengeance of our God,
to comfort all who mourn,

and provide for those who grieve in Zion-
to bestow on them a crown of beauty
instead of ashes,
the oil of gladness
instead of mourning,
and a garment of praise
instead of a spirit of despair.
They will be called oaks of righteousness,
a planting of the LORD
for the display of his splendor.
(Isaiah 61:1-3)

This is, in part, why we worship.

We are free to be the men and women God has made us to be.
We are free to display His glory. We are free, as His adopted children,
to claim His glory as our own! We are free to cast off everything that hinders,
and the sin that so easily entangles, and run the amazing race He has marked out for us!
We are free to be OURSELVES, our TRUE selves. And most of all,
we are free to help invite others to walk in this freedom.
This is truly GOOD NEWS.

And this is why we are worship leaders.

Whom the Son sets free IS FREE INDEED!

Christians in Liverpool Gather in Flash-Mob "Guerilla" Worship at New Mall

Courtesy of Breaking Christian News (BCN)

Teresa Neumann (April 15, 2009)

"God lives in shopping malls as well as churches!" Got to hand it to those Liverpoolians; they're gutsy champions of the faith.

(Liverpool, England)—Inspire Magazine reports that Christians from a Liverpool church group called "Dream" recently staged what is referred to as a flash-mob worship event at a new shopping center in the area.

According to the report, group members claimed the mall as holy ground with a symbolic act of worship.

Guerilla worshipSaid one member of Dream: "We held our first 'Guerilla Worship' gathering." After scattering about the shoppers, he said, "at the signal, we all stopped and took off our shoes...an ancient sign that this is 'holy ground'...We then made our way to the park at the centre of the mall where we sat together to form a cross...and prayed silently for a few minutes."

Praying for the unemployed and the current economic situation was just one of the many things the group prayed for. Ultimately, they prayed simply for hope.

John Belt: "Taking Hold of the Key of David--COME UP HIGHER"

Isaiah 22:22, "The key of the house of David I will lay on His shoulder; so He shall open, and no one shall shut; and He shall shut, and no one shall open. I will fasten Him as a peg in a secure place, and He will become a glorious throne to His Father's house."

Taking Hold of the Key of David

The Lord is releasing fresh revelation of the Key of David in this hour. This is the time to take hold of that key with the revelation of what it means. The key of David is not outer court activity. It is entering into the most holy place where the glory dwells. The tangible presence and glory of God is accessed through intimate Throne Room worship. We must enter into the Throne Zone in order to see the tangible glory of God manifested in our midst. Hanging out in the outer court will not cut it. Jesus paid the price and shed His Blood so that we could enter in to the holiest of all through Him (Hebrews 10:19-22).

It is in that place that we find the glory and anointing needed to transform atmospheres on earth. We are called to be the carriers of His glory. Christ in you is the hope of Glory (Colossians 1:27). It is the glory of God that makes that difference. By laying hold of the Key of David, we lay hold of the glory of His Spirit allowing Him to manifest in us and through us.

Notice that the Key of David is mentioned in the Book of Revelation (Revelation 3:7). The Revelation of Jesus Christ is basically a Throne Room experience that John had when he was taken up in the spirit. So it is all about having a throne room paradigm. This is the proper perspective that we are to have as believers. We are not to see things from an earthly vantage point but from a Heavenly perspective. It is there that we are seated in the Heavenly places above all demonic forces. It is in the throne room that we have realization and revelation of the full victory that has been obtained for us. It is here that we walk out that victory and find Heaven's realities manifest in us.

As we take hold of this key of worship in the glory, we move into deeper realms of intimacy with God, greater revelation and understanding of His divine purposes, and we have the anointing to establish and plant His Kingdom in the earth. God got out of the box a long time ago, and He is longing for a people who will walk as habitations of God in the earth. Our mission is to carry His glory and release it. It is the true riches of His Presence that draw people to His heart.

Come Up Higher!

Psalm 18:33, "He makes my feet like the feet of deer, and sets me on my high places."

The Lord is calling us up higher. When God begins to manifest His glory, we need to make sure that we don't try to pitch tents and build structures prostituting His glory. If we come up higher in the intimacy of His presence finding our identity in Him, we will not do this. The merchandising of His glory is when men try to establish their own identities and kingdoms on what God is doing and drawing attention to themselves.

Jesus was transfigured before the eyes of Peter, James and John. Peter suggested tents be built, but this was not the heart of God. The glory of God shone on Jesus--a sign of God's endorsement of His Son. But man saw an opportunity--not what the Lord desired them to see. The Father gave a sharp correction from Heaven, "This is My SON, LISTEN TO HIM!" (see Mark 9:3-8).

After this, all they saw was Jesus! When the glory comes, our focus must be on hearing His voice and obeying--not falling into the trap of adding our "hamburger helper" to what God is doing. God does not need our embellishments. He desires our intimacy, affection and love directed towards Him. We must keep the focus on Him and not turn to earthly arrangements. It is amazing how when man sees the glory, there is the fleshly reaction to capitalize on what God is doing--building earthly structures, etc.

God wants things organic and living. But if man gets his paws on it, God withdraws His Presence. Man's fleshly agendas are a stench in God's nostrils. If we are to partake in what God is doing, we must keep our own agendas out of the mix. It is the mixture that causes confusion and ultimately brings disgrace.

New Wineskin Thinking

Mark 2:22, "And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; or else the new wine bursts the wineskins, the wine is spilled, and the wineskins are ruined. But new wine must be put into new wineskins."

If we are to partake in what God is pouring out in this hour with longevity, we must have a new mindset, a new wineskin. What does it mean to have a new wineskin? One thing it means is that we don't lean on our own understanding. There are many cultures in the Body of Christ--many different expressions in various congregations, ways of thinking and etc., and with that can come preconceived ideas of how things are supposed to be or look. So we need to be tenderhearted and be willing to lay down what is negotiable in the eyes of God. Otherwise, leaning on natural thinking and old ways are like crusty and stiff wineskins. These mindsets cannot carry the new wine of God's glory that is being poured out.

We need to be FLEXIBLE and tender to the Spirit in our hearts. The religious spirit can mold itself to ANY "culture." Not one church culture is exempt from this. We have the Word of God that is unchangeable and abides forever (Mark 13:31), but our church cultures and natural thinking are not eternal--they are manmade and have flaws. So we must always remain flexible. We should hold true to the Word, but remain flexible in regards to how things should look in regards to the moving of God's Spirit.

This is important because man's tendency is to try to put God in our boxed limited thinking. God will not fit in anyone's boxed thinking. He has this tendency to constantly break out of the box of man's thinking just to offend the mind. His ways are higher than our ways and His thoughts are higher than our thoughts. We all hoped we could have God figured out, but it is just one of those things where He won't let us figure Him out completely--because HE IS GOD.

So set your natural thinking aside, and ask the Lord to help you see with the eyes of His Spirit. The natural mind cannot understand the ways of the Spirit. But the spirit within us is created to see and understand His ways (I Corinthians 2:11). So let's commit ourselves to see with the eyes of our hearts and allow God to blow our minds with His unlimited power!

The time is now to move into glory realm worship. It is in the glory that all of Heaven's resources are at our spiritual fingertips. Apprehend that tangible glory of God in your life and settle for nothing less!

2 Peter 1:17, "For He received from God the Father honor and glory when such a voice came to Him from the Excellent Glory: 'This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.'"

Worship in the Glory!

Scott Hicks: A New Sound is Coming to the Church! Christian Music will Receive a Praise and Worship "Face Lift"

Courtesy of elijahlist.com

scott hicksIn 2007, I spoke many times about "a new sound." The Lord constantly echoed those words in my spirit, and I repeated them everywhere. As I began to seek God for a prophetic glimpse into 2008, I heard a new sound. I saw people praising and worshipping as I have never seen before. I saw churches full of worshippers.

As praise and worship entered new levels of the Father's realm, I saw more and more people coming into buildings because of this new sound they were hearing. I saw onlookers that stood in awe of this new sound and were being transformed from "idle spectators" into "worshipping participators" by His manifest presence.

Scripture says: "Out of the mouths of babes and suckling have I perfected praise" Matthew 21:16. I heard someone say about this Scripture, "Praise is not perfected when it leaves our mouth; it's perfected when it enters His ears--because He has perfected it."

As part of the prophetic insight into 2008, I hear a new sound coming forth from the Body of Christ. I see key people that God has set into place to usher in this new sound, unrehearsed, and straight from the Spirit's worship. Musical "talent" is going to change (and already has in many) and alter from the normal to a supernatural and never heard of before--expression of praise and worship. This is a divine exchange of passion and love "to" God and "from" God.

Many that are already in musical positions will rise higher in the Spirit, and many that have a deep call and passion, but haven't had an open door, will begin to see doors open as they worship in Spirit and in truth. Those that God has placed into musical positions will begin to have expressive ideas and a renewing of the mind. Pre-written lyrics will begin to fade as their souls and inner spirits have longed for so much more. A divine exchange of passion will come forth from musicians' lips and instruments and will lead worshippers to the Father's throne as they have never seen yet, but only imagined and waited so long for.

Those that have longed to lead worshippers to the Father and have felt the burn of the call and destiny flickering in their hearts--will see doors open. They will hear sounds they can't get out of their spirits and minds. They will begin to see worshippers of God pulled to them--so that they may lead. These are the people that have a passion to lead others to God through praise and worship, but never knew how or where to start. You have thoughts like, "All the slots seem full already. Where do I begin? How do I get into this?" Those who constantly feel this unsettled passion will begin to rise up and connect with those whom God has already established and placed into key positions to lead His people to Him through perfected praise and worship.

Face Lift to Christian Music

The "Christian music industry" and what we call praise and worship is getting a literal face lift. God lifts His face towards us when we worship in spirit and in truth. He has been turning over rocks and looking and listening in kitchens and showers; looking, seeking, watching and listening for those who will worship Him in truth. His desire to find true worship is not only for Him to relax and listen to; He longs for this atmosphere, so He can have what I call "communion"--a communication that is fresh and special for that very moment.

There's a new sound coming in 2008 that is going to lift God's face toward us. It's a sound that no man can make without Him. A perfect sound that He has perfected when it enters His ears. A sound that will cause the masses to take note. A sound that will draw and pull those that hear it--to come and commune with God.

The lost will say, "What happened to church music? All of a sudden it is beyond awesome!" They won't be able to help it. This true worship will draw them because their spirits have been singing it since they were born. They just haven't found anyone to lead them to the source with a divine exchange...until now!

We often say, "Keep your eyes open." This year I say, "Keep your ears open." He that hath ears let him hear....

Still Worshipping,

JoAnn McFatter: "Vibration of Sounds will be Released--Get Ready for the Frequency of Heaven!"

Courtesy of elijahlist.com

A couple of years ago, I heard the Lord say He was extending a scepter, so to speak, to any city in which the churches would come together in unity. It was a scepter of promised visitation. When we believe Psalm 133, the blessing is ALWAYS there, but I felt that this was for visitation, specifically. Where I live, in the state of Alabama, I have great anticipation for this to take place--from top to bottom! I imagine it to be true of any state, but I know it to be true of ours.

"Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious oil upon the head, running down on the beard, the beard of Aaron, running down on the edge of his garments. It is like the dew of Hermon, descending upon the mountains of Zion; for there the LORD commanded the blessing--life forevermore." Psalm 133

Again, it is an invitation for us to come together in the different regions of our states to inquire of the Lord what must be done to see this unity come to pass. What I do know is that we must begin gathering together and release the "sound of supplication" into the atmosphere. Let's be the sound of many waters as the many voices come together to release the "sound of faith" for our land.

"Will You not revive us again, that Your people may rejoice in You? Show us Your mercy, Lord, and grant us Your salvation. I will hear what the Lord will speak, for He will speak peace to His people and to His saints; but let them not turn back to folly. Surely His salvation is near to those who fear Him, that glory may dwell in our land. Mercy and truth have met together; righteousness and peace have kissed. Truth shall spring out of the earth, and righteousness shall look down from Heaven. Yes, the Lord will give what is good; and our land will yield its increase." Psalm 85:6-12

As One Voice

There is a principle of physics called entrainment. It is when two things with different patterns of frequency are placed side by side, they begin to adapt to each other and vibrate at the same frequency. For example, it is a proven fact that if you place two pendulum clocks together, they will begin to swing in unison, thus increasing the strength and fullness of that vibrating frequency.

When we come together in unity, worshipping God, releasing a sound of intercession into the atmosphere--again, in unity--we are causing a physical change in the atmosphere. When we come into agreement with God's ways--with His purposes and desires, we cause the earth to vibrate with the frequency of Heaven. There will be a fullness released into the atmosphere when unity between Heaven and earth (the desires of God) begin to manifest. The vibration of the sounds coming from Heaven and the vibration of the sounds coming from the earth will meet. Could this be a part of what Psalm 85:10-12 refers to? "Mercy and truth have met together ... righteousness shall look down from Heaven...Yes, the Lord will give what is good; and our land will yield its increase."

He even says in verse 9, "That glory may dwell in their land." Is this not what we have been crying out for?! "Lord, let Your glory come!" The physical frequency of vibration of the woman's faith that reached out and touched the hem of His garment (Luke 13) with hope and expectation, I believe came in sync with the "frequency of vibration" in the "virtue of healing" that lay resident in Him. He said her faith made her whole. There is a physical principle taking place when spiritual principles are activated. The sound and/or vibration of supplication released through revelation--brings transformation.

To Cleanse the Land

We need to cleanse the land, the atmosphere around us with the sound of faith, expectation, and that which is righteous and true to see transformation--even to become His place of habitation.

"Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy--meditate on these things." Philippians 4:8

I want to encourage us all to press in these days--to press in with faith and belief in the Word of God to us. What if it is in His heart to take the whole state of Alabama and make it a transformation state?! I believe there is a blessing that He is anxiously waiting to bestow on us as a state, which He has been holding in His heart for some time now. I believe God wrote it down in a book as something He would answer when the time was right--when we, as a state, became the first to recognize Israel as a nation.

We need to gather together and say to Him, "Remember, God? Remember what was done by Your grace by this state on behalf of Your people, Israel? Let this be the time! Look down on us now and release to us the blessing. Visit us in Your grace and mercy. Transform us by the renewing of our minds and line us up with Heaven. Make the state of Alabama (say your state) Your resting place!"

"I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait on the Lord, be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; wait, I say, on the Lord!" Psalm 27:13-14

We need to release that sound of supplication through worship, intercession and declaration in faith, believing for transformation of our whole state. In God, ALL things are possible! Why not a whole state? Why not here? Why not us? Why not NOW?!

Praise and Worship Service Focuses on Repentance for Sin of Abortion

The following article is a Press release from Operation Rescue regarding the "Wichita Awakening" www.operationrescue.org

Wichita Awakening draws 570 to park for music and prayer

Wichita, KS - July 15, 2007 - As the sun sank of over the Kansas prairie, the grassy glade at the confluence of the Arkansas and Little Arkansas Rivers came to life with energetic praise and worship music and prayer that focused on repentance for the sin of abortion.

A group of 570 mostly young people gathered Sunday evening at the Wichita Awakening to accept the challenge from Norma McCorvey, the former "Roe" of Roe v. Wade, that those born after the 1973 Supreme Court decision should partner with her generation to see an end to abortion.

About three hundred of the young people were from The Cause, which is conducting "God's Summer of Love" across America to pray for repentance from the sins and excesses of the previous generation on the 40th anniversary of the 1967 "Summer of Love."

Rev. Pat Mahoney shared that he believes that God is ministering to him that we are in a time of breakthrough that will soon see an end to abortion.

Notorious abortionist George R. Tiller was recently charged with 19 criminal counts of committing illegal late-term abortions. However, he is still operating his infamous abortion mill and Operation Rescue says there is reason to believe that he is committing late-term abortions for trivial reasons in further violation of the law.

Monday, the Cause will spend the day at Tiller's late-term abortion mill, beginning at 8:30 AM. They will be back to the Mid-American Indian Center for a final Praise and Worship concert to end the Wichita Awakening, which is scheduled to run from 7 PM to midnight.

Operation Rescue is hosting the event.
