Repentance Walk to Kick-Off "The Call Nashville" on July 7th

Day 25 of "40 Days for 40 Years" 15 Days to Go

(Nashville, Tennessee)—According to information on The Call's website, a silent prayer "walk of repentance" will begin the day of July 7th, in Nashville. The walk is scheduled to start at 7am, near the city's replica of the Parthenon (at Centennial Park Band Shell), and continue the 2.7 miles up Church St. to LP Field in the Titan's stadium, by about 9am.

Those wishing to join the march are encouraged to come early so it can begin on time. Since it is a "silent prayer" walk, there will be no signs, banners or flags permitted in the procession.

The Call Nashville website explains the reason for the walk:

For 40 years our nation has been reeling under the influence of the sexual revolution. The fruit has been the disintegrating family unit, divorce skyrocketing, sexual abuse is everywhere, pornography is the norm, and gross perversion, rape and violence ravage our land.

Now is time to reverse the curse and denounce the bondage of the sexual revolution. As we humble ourselves with mass repentance we will stand in the gap for our nation and shift its course from perversion to purity. The Roar of the Righteous will be heard again in our land.

We are seeking those who hear the call to repentance to arise, as we set the stage for the Call on 7/7/7. Saturday morning before 7 am, thousands will be gathering at Centennial Park to take this pilgrimage of repentance, as we march 2.7 miles through the heart of the city into the stadium. Here we will cross over the juncture of Church and 40 as a prophetic picture of the 40 years of a worldly wilderness being over. This is not a parade, celebration or protest—it is a time of intercession and repentance.

We are calling the Church to Church Street, to repent on behalf of ourselves, the Church, and this nation for tolerating Jezebel and her insidious pornographic plague. It's no secret that the Church has been paralyzed by sexual immorality and that families are under an onslaught. It's time to come clean—it's time for the Bride to be pure and get her voice back.

Join us for this historic journey as we turn our hearts back to the Lord and His holy standard, so that the fullness of His favor and blessing can come back to America!
